A re-release of the Resident Evil remake has been announced by Capcom.
The 2002 GameCube game, which was a remake of the 1996 original with new visuals, environments and story details, will be released on PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC in early 2015. The digital-only release will feature environments and character models updated for modern systems, with a scrolling camera in certain scenes, full 1080p support on next-gen consoles, 5.1 surround sound and a new widescreen mode. New and classic control schemes will also be supported, with players able to move characters directly with a move of the analogue stick as opposed to the original's 'tank' controls. Set in a zombie-filled mansion, the original Resident Evil tasks players with exploring and surviving with limited resources. The game's original creator, Shinji Mikami, will be releasing new survival horror game The Evil Within this October. Digital Spy

REmake is an excellent game, I'm glad it's not Nintendo exclusive anymore. I shall be picking this one up.
