Think a lot of people are just sick of the show, it's been on air for like 14 weeks or something. Considering BB was pretty awful people aren't bothering. Just have one CBB in Jan for gods sake!

To be fair on BB, last nights rating is OK considering how low it has dropped the last few days. It was 100k up on last week and only 100k down on the last Saturday of CBB12, I know it only clashed with X factor for around 4 mins last night but that could have made a tiny difference, I thought CBB started at 9:20pm, right after X Factor but it started at 9:15pm. I mean last Sat went from 1.21m and then got 1.96m on Sunday; I never look at Sat ratings much, but it was up. Tonight, I reckon 1.8m.
There is still question marks above Fridays rating. It got 1.61m excl +1, and on average the evictions have added around 110k so we are looking at around 1.72m for Friday. I'm looking forward to the officials tomorrow, but they won't be that high I don't think, as people said, people are slowing down their watching, it's been on for so long! |

Come to think of it, BB clashes with X Factor for 5 mins and Strictly for 15 mins. What odd scheduling

Awful rating... 1.50m incl +1
I knew that the 5 min clash with X Factor and 15 mins clash with Strictly would have destroyed it. Well, its certainly the lowest rated series of CBB. |

Ouch. The highs of that last Sunday of the January series hitting 3m seems like years ago.

I think it's lucky to be getting the ratings it does - another four weeks on top of the civilian series, whether it's successful or not, is overkill plain and simple.

I would be happy with 10 weeks of civilian then that's enough

All incl +1 except Friday. Sat really dragged it down, if that wasn't included, it would have averaged around 2.2m.
Monday- 2.13m Tuesday- 2.10m Wednesday- 2.19m Thursday- 2.38m Friday- 2.08m excl +1 Saturday- 1.56m Sunday- 2.37m Week 2 officials (with Friday's +1 excluded) is 2.12m. So, looking at the 2.32m from week 1 and 2.12m from week 2, the series is averaging 2.22m. |

Excellent officals - that Saturday really was bad. It wasn't a bad episode I seem to remember - they should have done that teaser thing again.

It will sadly be the lowest CBB, but I am sure it won't fall beneath 2m so its still good, especially following the ratings of BB15 and how long its been running. My final prediction is that it will be at around 2.09m incl +1 at the end of the run. |

Also to note that CH5 came 3rd in the slot despite being lower last night beating BBC2 and CH4. CH4 got 1m at 9pm and BBC2 only 432,000. At least it makes the 1.5m look better.

That was bad for ITV. I wonder if they'll try and perform better come January as CBB was big competition for them, even this series it's been beaten a few times

Horrific for BBC2 though All I think, the show will not be in trouble if its beating BBC2 and CH4. It as you said, has beaten ITV three times this series. Last edited by *mazedsalv**; 08-09-2014 at 01:23 PM. |

I thought The Suspicions of Mr Whicher was supposed to be some big new show.
I cant believe how much that bombed especially when almost 8 million people were watching ITV just minutes before it started. |
