INTRO:

I wanted to create a Big Brother theme, in keeping with Secrets and Lies and Powertrip, however the name of the theme isn't purely twists like we've seen. Instead the theme is design based.

Big Brother 16, also known as Big Brother: Rebirth is Channel 5's and new owner Viacom's latest attempt at the show.. however after several years of audience complaints.. producers of the show and tv directors of the channel are listening.

Big Brother Rebirth goes back to basics.

Life Feed nightly on Channel 5 from 12am-3am, replacing SuperCasino in it's slot. It is also available on the big brother app at a small weekly rated fee.

Big Brother: Rebirth is honest, and although he can be mean, does not manipulate. Everything we see and hear is true, nothing is scripted, nothing is fake.

Housemates come from all walks of life, to truly represent the Great British Public. Furthermore, there are no ego's in Big Brother: Rebirth. Big Brother is the only ego.

Diary Room Uncut returns on sister channel 5*. Allowing the public to view more than an hour each day of cut down diary room action from the HMs.

Big Brother: Rebirth brings back manual labour. Housemates have no such luxuries, including the declining use of straighteners, shavers etc. They must also work for their limited power. Exercising a certain amount of time a day to generate enough power for those items to work. The shower too, is a two-man job and requires the second person to turn a wheel continuously. There is no hot water.

Interactions within Big Brother: Rebirth are strictly limited to emergencies, if required. There is no outside contact to enter the house. No letter's from home. No returning HMs. No friends and family nominations.

Nominations will always be made in the diary room.

The chickens return.

Big Brother: Rebirth is Channel 5's attempt at restoring utopia to show. Copying the elements of the Channel 4 show, Big Brother: Rebirth is pure, editing does not favour one or another of the HMs. Big Brother: Rebirth is a social experiment.


DESIGN:

I've not done a lot for the designs.. these are merely mock-ups of what I inted Big Brother: Rebirth to be.

The eye is simplistic (this one is an actual copy of Big Brother: Australia, I do wish to change this but didn't have the time nor skills!) It connotes the idea of purity, faith and trust. Representing the show and the audience's belief in the show. The rest of the design follows suit a pixelated world. The pink and blue static hue suggests an eerie change, whilst also connoting the two genders of the house as equal. The rebirth design continues from the Power Trip technology theme, though on a much smaller scale, implying it's change.

Thanks! Yeh it needs tweaking a cconsiderable amount! Will test some more stuff out in the future perhaps.. something simply to pass time!
