Then Gary understood the jokey nature and came out with something a little too vulgar.

Nothing homophobic about it, nor was he mislabelling him. James took offence over nothing and milked it for attention.

And anyway - making jokes about gay activity isn't homophobia. Hating gay people is homophobia. There is a huge difference.

I make jokes about my dog who i love. Doesn't mean i'm dogphobic.

People need to get a grip. We are allowed to laugh at each other, you know.

Who wants to live in a world where all controversial and edgy humour is outlawed?

Think how rubbish and boring comedians will be if they are only allowed to do jokes about toasters, cars or other inanimate objects - just in case someone gets offended.
