Default The vote to save

I get the impression they are doing this to recover all the money they spent on celebs and avoid losing the "big names", how differenly do you think it would be if it were vote to evict? It seems like people would spend more money keeping in celebs than booting out, but i may be wrong. whats your view?

It should always be....vote to evict as its an eviction...

There are benefits to both ways... voting to evict, or voting to save. Much has been discussed about whether the outcome of any eviction would be different if the evict/save switch was flipped.

It's really hard to say with any degree of accuracy... Most people assume a vote would usually turn out very differently if it were a vote of the opposite type... but we'll never know for sure.

The "vote to save" format makes it impossible, really, for a viewer to specifically target someone they want out of the house. The only way to perhaps shift the eviction towards your target would be to vote repeatedly for everyone *except* the person you want to see evicted. But even that won't work unless many others are doing the same thing.

It's kind of like cleaning out your refrigerator by taking out all the fresh food food you want to keep, and leaving the spoiled food in the fridge where it doesn't belong.

I like vote-to-evict but then Frenchy might have been at risk this week unless there was some form of scapegoat.

Vote to evict allows the public to get rid of the nasties quicker but therein lies the problem that the nasties make the show watchable. If it was vote to evict then James would go this week but vote to save means Kellie might go so there is defo a difference.

VTE makes less money than VTS so naturally the prods like it. My preference lies with VTE bme.

Some nasty characters make the show very unwatchable at the same time though.
