Jade Goody is facing a three-week wait to find out if she is suffering from bowel cancer.

The terrified Big Brother 3 star has been tested for the killer disease after being rushed to hospital with crippling stomach pains last weekend.

Following five days of tests, Jade has since decided to return home because she wants to enjoy Bonfire Night with her two sons.

She told the Daily Star: "The doctors haven't ruled anything out yet. I know bowel cancer is a killer and I'm worried. But I'm hoping it's not that.

"I often get mild stomach pains and every few months I get bad ones but this time they were the worst ever. The pain was atrocious and what really worried me was that blood came out when I went to the loo. In the past I've just had X-rays and the doctors have said they can't find anything. The pain went away after a while and I just carried on.

"For a long time it was just put down to bad constipation. This time the hospital decided they would do lots of tests to really try to find out the cause. I had cameras looking inside me and they did find a blockage that was causing the pain. But I don't yet know why that happened. I won't find out anything more until I go back in three weeks."
