BIG Brother star Jade Goody has splashed out on a luxury penthouse after earning more than £300,000 in the last six months.

Pregnant Jade, 21, has bought the smart £250,000 three-bedroom apartment with the money she made from media work since the Channel 4 reality TV show.

The three-bedroom flat, spread over two floors, is part of a new development in upmarket Old Harlow, Essex.

An insider at the development said: "The apartment is the last word in luxury. It has a fantastic designer-style bathroom and fully-fitted kitchen. It certainly beats the Big Brother House."

Jade is expected to share her new home with boyfriend Jeff Brazier, 23, whose baby she is expecting in July.

Andrew Robinson, 31, a stockbroker who lives locally said: "Jade is not typical of the residents around here to say the least.

"But I'm sure she will be made very welcome."
