seat blocking on public transport - etiquette guide poem - metro paper inspiration 29.10.14
a few nights ago i had pain beaten by a stronger power sympathy for those who daily use the train OMG i hate rush hour. of course there is a space demand i got so close to a lady it was nearly marriage touching was not a command dreading the news my train "wife" did miscarriage. (tong and cheek - joke) it is bringing people closer but there is a divide so i am going to be a vegetable samosa in transport there is no respect courtesy or pride. if there are empty seats and you are not next to the window this is where a compromise meets budge over and make space for my train wife widow. don't sit on the rim with your legs open wide expecting passengers to breath in and be slim show you did read my "etiquette poem" guide. when passengers leave and there is a whole don't make a seat theft show compassion is in your sole automatically shuffle along to your left. with every seat available less will have to stand a faster more efficient travel that is stable any train company feel free to publish and shake my hand. ( using public transport is no easy ride and to make things even more irritating are those that sit in a middle seat or on the edge and make it hard for anyone to enter to use the available seats they are blocking. i think this is a diabolical liberty and has forced me to write a etiquette guide. if any train company wants to publish this on the train, not only will it make people smile i am sure it will create a better way to travel as people will hopefully think where they sit, and if they are making it difficult for anyone to pass and use the available seats. or am i just ranting ? and the only thing that needs blocking is distasteful poetry ? if you want to see the paper that inspired my poem you can here at this website - http://metro.co.uk/2014/10/28/is-it-...-tube-4924515/ and i will not name and shame the train line i was on because i no everyone on most lines will be seeing this or am i wrong ? reply's have to rhyme please.) |

I have only one train pet peeve.
I'm part of a family of 4; me, wife, two kids. Train car is half empty... LOADS of free 2-seat spaces... but all of the 4 seat tables are taken... one of them, it's just one guy on his own. He could easily move to one of the two-seat spaces and let the family of 4, with young children, sit at the 4 seat table... but no, he stays there, reading his ****ing metro, so we have to split up and sit separately. This isn't a one off it happens all the ****ing time! |
