![]() After AsdaWalmart dropped them they are trying their luck with Sainsburys backing them. The Danish Supermarket Netto (Dansk) was just on Radio5 Live "Whether the Netto stores will have potential in the UK is another matter. Sainsbury's and Dansk Supermarked insisted the new stores would "represent a complete departure" from the old outlets, with, for example, in-house bakery, which is a nod to the moves Aldi and Lidl have made in recent years to invest in fresh food." http://www.just-food.com/analysis/sa..._id127124.aspx First opens in Leeds this morning the are trying to match Aldi /Lidl with their weekly specials as well. I hope Kizzy gets a chance to check them. Last edited by arista; 06-11-2014 at 06:58 AM. |
