I was reading an article about new dolls that are more realistic" than Barbie and as usual it was slamming Barbie. But as a young boy i had teenage mutant ninja turtle dolls(action figures) are boys toys really any more realistic than girls toys?
Why do so many women and liberals HATE Barbie so much?

It's been very telling when I have come across actual footage of some of these 'fem lib' and other groups, that the more physically further from the 'Barbie' image they are, the more extreme and vociferous are their views against her. For that very same reason of 'not measuring up', I am vehemently against any groups entitled 'The Longer than a 4" Penis Club' or similar. Last edited by kirklancaster; 22-11-2014 at 12:03 PM. |

well you make a good point. aren't a;; the comic book heroes that boys love growing up, super muscular, always brave, just as unrealistic for boys?
I grew up on comic books, especially x-men, and all the men in the comics have just as unrealistic bodies. Besides Hugh Jackman(he really does look exactly like wolverine), I've never seen a man that actually looks like the characters from the x-men in real life.

Well i'm not Action Man but i don't want to ban him.Maybe little girls should only be allowed to play with Rosanne dolls then they can eat like pigs and aspire to be fat. That would be a healthy society eh?
Women are naturally jealous creatures,If it was'nt Barbie it would be something else. |

No,Women are more jelly.Always eyeing up the competition when they enter a room or making bitchy remarks about each other.I've heard them.Men don't generally look at another man appearance and start bitching,They tend to not give a crap in my experience.

Barbie isn't the only children's toy imbued with problems, most kids toys are inherently problematic. They're so encoded with rather toxic messages about gender. All the stereotypical boys toys lean toward this message of violence and being domineering, and all the toys targeted at girls are filled with vapid messages about consumerism and appearance.
That said though, Barbie is an absolutely awful toy. Her body is ridiculously proportioned giving girls a warped view on how women are supposed to look from the outset. Nearly all Barbie advertising focuses on the white, blonde Barbie over any variants that are people of colour, thereby excluding girls of colour. And finally there's the focus on shopping and homemaking in the Barbie line of toys and their advertising campaigns, a very restrictive set of ideas for girls. And the above can be often be used as a general template for almost any girls toy, especially the latter two things I said. But most of all, the encouragement of nothing but homemaking, consumerism, and a heavy interest in appearance is something in complete contrast at toys for boys. Look at ads for toys targeted at boys and you'll see them often encourage things like creativity whilst using the toy - lego being a prime example of this - amongst other things. Girls toys just.. don't. It's one of the many, many problems with gender.
