Default Craig\'s Portsmouth Lights Switch-on

Quote:
Craig ensures a Big festive switch-on
A CROWD of hundreds helped kick off the festive season when Portsmouth city centre went up in lights.
Revellers were packed shoulder to shoulder in Commercial Road and the Cascades shopping centre for the official switch-on of the Christmas lights yesterday at 6pm.
They wasted no time getting in some evening shopping before a barrage of spectacular fireworks, sponsored by The News, shot into the sky at 7pm.
The switch was thrown by Declan Benson, four, and Harriet Cope, eight.
They were joined by the winner of the first series of reality TV pioneer Big Brother, Craig Phillips, who is starring in the pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk at the Kings Theatre, Southsea, as well as lord mayor Fred Charlton and lady mayoress Margaret Charlton.

After leading the crowd in a countdown to the big switch-on, Craig went into the shopping centre where he signed autographs.....
