I was worried that Ben would beat her to the win, but I think she's done it now.

With X Factor usually the winners are worse off (with one or two exceptions) so it doesn't matter who wins really. I think Andrea, Fleur and Ben will all have something in the music industry.

Fleur doesn't need to win, she will have a massive career either way, I'd be more than happy for her to win, but she really doesn't even need to at this point, she'll easily be the most successful act from this series

Runners up always do better, so i would be happy with Andrea finishing in second place.

Yes, because Luke Friend and Nicholas McDonald are soooooo successful compared to Sam Bailey or Marcus and Amelia compared to Little Mix

That was a bitter comment Vanessa.

You're picking up on two series. Maybe look at all 10 and you start to see some people who didn't win but were successful. Over the ten years XF has been around more acts that lost have had more successes than the winners.

Now odds on fave!

Quote:
Fleur East is the odds-on favourite to win The X Factor 2014 UK final next weekend.

The X Factor has its three finalists after Lauren Platt succumbed to the Sing Off following the judge’s vote, bar her mentor Cheryl, to send her home.

Fleur is now left going into the final as the one to beat having been backed into 4/6. Fleur made her way to the top of the betting after two show stopping performances saw money flood in for her to win.

And Fleur’s successful weekend was topped off as her cover of Uptown Funk shot to Number One on iTunes.

Ben Haenow was the favourite on Saturday but has since been pushed out to the 15/8 second favourite from 11/10. Cheryl has already voiced her support for the van driver and although he is second in the betting the competition is not over yet and he could still clinch the title.

Andrea Faustini is doing it for the Boys as the only remaining act in his category. He made it into the final by the skin of his teeth and the previous long running favourite is the current underdog at 13/2 to win after two appearances in the bottom two now.

Aoife Heffron of Boylesports said last night: “Fleur went odds on just as the show ended as the punters were quick to back her to win. She is an all-round performer and after her second performance on Saturday night she is going to be very hard to beat.”

She added: “Ben remains the biggest loser in the book and although he has drifted out to the 15/8 second favourite our traders can’t breathe a sigh of relief just yet as anything can happen between now and the final.”

I'm on about recent series. XF has become less popular over the years, meaning winning is more important. I can't name any 'successful' non winner since the 2011 series, except Ella Henderson. But Little Mix, James Arthur and Sam Bailey all did better than their respective 'losing' contestants.
