![]() They truly do not want to 'face their fears' as you say, and perhaps do have a "let them eat cake" attitude because they do live in areas where unfettered immigration is not directly adversely affecting them - as it is the rest of us. But unfettered immigration is a disease which can't be localised and its catastrophic effects will impact upon their privileged lifestyles sooner than later as it rapidly spreads.
