Big Brother was a 10/10 tonight. They are playing the house like a Mozart masterpiece. They absolutely 100% know that Perez is making this show and the fact that he's not only immune the next time round but has the possibility of being voted immune to the very end proves that. Anyone who believes otherwise are nothing but blind. Make it happen people.
Tonight's episode was able to act as a demonstration of proof to show that the house itself would be boring as **** without him in there. In fact it was BB spelling that very fact out and even then his commentary was what made the show that much funnier. I've said this before and I'll say it again, at first I absolutely hated Perez but people are starting to agree (based on the forum percentage) that he really is making the house that much funnier. I'm not at a point myself where I think he should win it yet but he's starting to deserve it more now that he's calmed down a bit and has had a chance to observe what the other housemates are like. Remember he's a critic and I think tonight's episode was a crucial demonstration of how different his behavior can be, though he certainly can be erratic every now and then, but this explosive behavior is what makes him compelling to watch. The one good thing about Perez is that he might be two-faced but people are right when they say at least what he does bare isn't a facade. (I think Cheggers put it best when he said something like at least with Perez you see what you get). You can see that Katie Hopkins has changed a lot because she seemed alright at the beginning but as time wore on she couldn't control herself around Perez and let some of the real her out. I'm far from a Perez fanboy, in fact in that respect I like to stay mostly neutral until the end because it takes some time for people to really open up. What I'm saying is from a logical standard Perez needs to be saved so that the series is that much funner to watch. The last two Big Brother activities have been excellent as well and I'm sure they've got plenty more to come. We only see what each of them are really like towards the latter end of the series imo. I still think Perez is acting the perfect baddie role and he's put up with a lot of **** from Katie H and Cami for no reason really. All he had to do to become the house criminal was strut semi-naked, I mean in hindsight it's absolutely hilarious. Also it's the way in which Perez particularly announces to the cameras and the public when he's about to do something that makes it all that much funnier. That cut of him screaming 'I'm coming' juxtaposed with everyone arguing was genius TV. He needs to at least make top 5 because once he's out, the show won't reach it's peak ever again. He's like the perfect baddie; like the person you boo and hiss at during a pantomime. Most importantly he's not singling anyone out either other than a falsified rivalry with Hopkins for dramas sake. Big Brother knows it and with a bit of sense and logic you'll see it too. Perez has made this series so far and booting him out any sooner than the final is the biggest crime. Look past the hate you have for Perez (like I did) and vote sensibly. Let's not forget at Big Brothers core the concept is that it's a social experiment and so far this is the best social experiment to date because of Perez. He's no way near as bad as James Jordan in BB14 either who got third place for bullying Busey the entire season; ludicrous, and that was bad because they fooled the poor sod into believing that he was in the wrong due to British customs/mannerisms. If James Jordan can get third place (I still cringe at the thought) then Perez can too. Make no mistake though James Jordon was utter scum, Perez is not nasty in the same malicious way - not even close and I think that's where a lot of people are making the mistake of hating him in a similar way. Perez is well aware of what he's doing and is allying himself and making enemies with any and everyone around the house. Think to yourself what makes a true winner of Big Brother? Is it only the fact that they are nice people? Is the general kindness of somebodies personality something worthy of a winning place? In some cases I'd certainly agree, as with BB14 and Busey. However in that scenario everyone bar Audley (and another 1 or 2) played a group of baddies all at once and along with his eccentric personality practically handed Busey that win on a platter. I detested Perez with a passion to begin with but the more I thought about what he was actually doing the more harmless it seemed. He's not bullying anyone like Katie H or Cami who did so not only to Alicia but who then moved on towards Perez 24/7. I am certain I never wish to live with someone like that but we aren't voting to make their lives more comfortable are we now? ![]() Last edited by Philanthropite; 27-01-2015 at 01:49 AM. |
