Default This series is going downhill.

Don't get me wrong, I'm loving it. But I don't feel it's as good as CBB13 anymore. This time two weeks ago, I thought it was amazing, and I really enjoyed it and I was totally hooked. I was considering it better than CBB13. But over the last week or so, IMO, it's not as good as the first week, which was epic.

I cant put my finger on why.
But I'm hating this Hopkins Vs Hilton. The show is centered around these two. Similar to Helen Vs Ashleigh, in BB15. I believe it's killing the show.
It's not the arguments, but who's involved in them.

In Week 1, we had Cami, Alicia, Hopkins, Michelle, Ken, Jeremy, Perez, Chloe and Nadia who all contributed to some great arguments and tensions.
Now it's just Hopkins Vs Perez, and I'm finding it too repetitive and tedious.

We've also lost some great characters early on.
Come to think of it, I thought Chloe and Alicia were big losses. Although, looking back, I wanted Chloe to go. I think Alexander would have been the ideal choice, as he walked 48 hours later anyway.

Week 1 we had:
Gropegate
Ken
Bananagate
King and Queen
Arguments
KP's entry

Now we have:
Hopkins Vs Hilton
Debatable showmance

This whole 'give perez immunity, let people decide if he gets to go to the final or up for every week' thing pissed me off. Why not neither? Why did he get immunity? A gameshow needs a standard set of rules which makes sense. This didn't make sense. Annoyed me. But I don't find the content any worse to be honest.

I agree. It's such a shame that a good series has been ruined by BB's desperate attempts to pander to a particular housemate. Not only that but the housemate in question is about as entertaining as watching paint dry. I just find everything about him makes me cringe to the point where I am struggling to watch now.

I don't know why anything going downhill is bad. Things going downhill get faster. Going uphill is worse. Things going uphill can come to a halt. Stupid quote!

I have to admit, I'm starting to tire of it now. It's very much getting Groundhog Day-ish. It doesn't help that I only like 3 of those left, either.

BB always has a habit of going downhill when they decide to throw in too many twists.

People were selected not for how compatible they were with each other but how much they might wind each other up! But you knew that.

I think the organisers totally mis-read some of the contestants and I do think they have made a cardinal error putting Katy H and Perez in the same line-up. its far too uncomfortable viewing and relentless. Katy H has a reputation of being mean and vile about people in the press. Not surprising then that she has the Michelle, Cami and Katy P in her camp. These women are terrified she'll write negatively about them when they are all released from CBB2015.

I wish Katy Price would break away and join Perez and Nadia, she's the most likely to do so. This might give KH a new focus and allow Perez and Nadia some down time. There is huge potential for an eruption between Katie H & Katie P.

Cheer up, things might still change for the better - the eternal optimist

Its not so much "pandering" as a sensible move to save the show, double previous viewing figures and quadruple revenue from voting. You can be assured the decisions taken are for financial reasons not to pander to anyone celebrity. They use these HM's to earn revenue - that's the bottom line.

Its about the MONEY!

I agree. I also forgot to mention I'm sick of the twists too.
The first week was great because the housemates caused the conflict themselves.
I really liked the first nomination twist where they had to save a housemate game. But then the Queen thing annoyed me.
Then last week, they decided to make KP put someone up. Now the secret room. There's just no need for it.
I find it all pointless really.
It seems that they know this series is popular, but yet they are going down the route of BB15, and making the same mistakes again.

I hated the fact that Perez was in a secret room. its been done TOO MANY TIMES. There were enough twists in the series so far. That said I still reckon its the best Celeb BB I have ever seen when you take the last three weeks 'as a whole'. 2 Throw outs one walk out controversy bitching arguments it has it all

Yeah it's been tedious for a week or so and losing my two favourite girls has done me no favours. Depending on how Friday pans out I might be done for this series

This CBB has really disappointed me.
I for have only been watching since the DEXTER season, and have really enjoyed all, until this one. I thought it was meant to be a social experiment of sorts.
But the season has been like a bad Soap come Circus thanks to Pirese.
He is just an irritating fool, AND WHY DID He get a pass for this nomination
and eviction. I Think the producers are controlling to keep him in as long as poss, and saying he is up for ALL the rest of the evictions is bull**** as it only has a week or two left... SO BIG DEAL.
SHAME ON YOU ,GUYS .
Regards

BB have created a monster and he is running the show now. Its all becoming a little draining and pretty uncomfortable to watch but \I guess it feeds appetites. Why cant they redress the balance and show Perez backstabbing someone and let him get some grief.

Well i think it was doomed to lose momentum when we had such a good first week.Saw it coming.Would've been much better with Jeremy and Ken still in and KP never entering,She's been dissapointing to say the least.

I'll stick with it, but I'm just not feeling as excited by it as I was in the first week anymore. The drama was exciting then. Now it's just the same old stuff over and over. I hate it when a series is dominated by the same housemates.

Hence why I prefer VTE. People complain that it gets rid of the louder characters ... good! Let us see more from the others. I've no interest in seeing the same housemates argue about the same **** day after day. I don't blame Patsy for being so glad to leave, I'd probably walk out at this point if I didn't care too much about the money.

What is wrong is that there are too few evictions its got boring.Perhaps the extra week was a bad decision.

Just stop with all these negative putdowns!

Trust me there have been even worse BB series, and this is certainly NOT going downhill!!

Just enjoy the entertainment.

Just goes to show whoever you pick, however well you think you have chosen, the actual house dynamics are impossible to forecast.

what might look like a really good mix of Celebs and I agree this series had a fair number of "proper" celebs not just the usual mix of Z-list nobodies, does not guarantee you an entertaining show.

Still this series hasn't been too bad, better than some I could name.

People are entitled to post threads about negative opinions, no reason they should "stop" (and the OP wasn't even that negative, they praised the series too). You may not feel that it's going downhill, but someone else does.

Like the OP, I've really been enjoying this series, I'm just starting to tire of the Perez vs Katie / Perez vs Cami thing now.
