She's straight and married. She is a judge on Ru Paul's Drag Race though so she is pretty famous in the gay community, as you can tell by her riding this fighting for equality train every chance she gets.

Look up her band "The SOULSYSTEM". One of their songs was in the The Bodyguard soundtrack - the most sold soundtrack in history.
