Katie Hopkins is not nice.

There is only one "n" word that can be used to describe her and that is "nasty"

Can you explain how a nice person would spread racial hatred with her tweets about

Ebola just being about lack of hygiene

How she blamed ALL Muslims for the rape of white children in Rotherham

She tweeted "All Muslims agree with the rape of white children"

She then tweeted "That is Pakistani men" behind it

ignoring the well known about abuses of victims by the Police in the area and probably their Establishment contacts

Why didn't she mention what the police have done to victims in the area and why of course something is going on if after 20 years there have been no prosecutions,the police have kept losing evidence and instead have arrested the victims

with one Police man taunting a victim " You're not the only one to be raped.There will be many more"

She ignored all that and instead said All Muslims agree with the rape of white children and just blamed Pakistani men for it

That led to a rise in the far right in the area.

She has also called for knifings of Palestinians and for mass bombings of Palestine which of course means the murder of many of their children

In the house she has enjoyed mentally torturing people with a look of joy on her face and has skipped around enjoying mentally abusing people

& then she has treated her friends like sh*t in the house, blanking Cami as soon as she went through wall

and saying in the diary room that Michelle was v competitive it was because she wanted to win so much

she couldn't stand her talking to Perez

Iy's like I said yesterday she was a d hypocrite for being friends with Perez after all she has said about him

Tell me how could she be nice after all that.

A nice person could not live with themselves if they did things like that.

Or do you think a nice person can do these things and still live with themselves ?

If some people want to believe that KH can do no wrong and that she is really a nice person that's misunderstood, that's fine good luck to them.

I don't like her, I think she is anything but nice.

I don't consider that winning Big Brother is any kind of validation that anyone is anything other than the winner of a game show. If she does manage to win and I don't think she will, it has no additional social standing associated with it, it isn't even as authentic as a boy scout or girl guide merit badge

Katie Hopkins views will never be accepted by the mainstream general public, so all is good in the world, whatever the result.

I'm not an expert on what Hopkins has said throughout her career outside the house. However, I can see one of her problems is that she tends to generalize too much and act as though something is black or white. She often leaves no middle ground during arguments.

And that's where the irony of this post comes in.

You seem to be under the delusion that Katie Hopkins is either nice or not nice. You're doing EXACTLY what she does.

Also, you make bizarre sweeping generalizations.

Take this bizarre statement for example, "I've never heard any thing to prove that Katie Hopkins is nice".

I believe that prior to the grave task the HM had been tolerating each other Perez outburst was the catalyst which started everything. Not saying Katie was innocent in the show but Perez and Nadir (Unpacking) definitely started it.

I agree completely. Wasn't it the first night in there, whilst they were all meeting and greeting that Perez and Nadia got into a huddle and decided there and then that Katy H was hated by the British public? I think it was then those two decided that the public would be on their side if they managed to turn the whole house against Katy H.

She is lovely, I have just watched all their speeches and must admit that I loved them all. At the end of the day whilst I want Katie H, Calum or Michelle to win and have done so for most of the time, I enjoyed Keith and Katie Ps sentiments as well. I think though that Calum, Katie H and Michelle will have good friendships after the show. Empathy flowed from all.

I've been thinking this for weeks, the "status quo" on here seems to change to fit what happens to suit people at the time. Because people supported Jim, it was "all about how they are in the house and his past is irrelevant". Some of the same people dislike Katie Hopkins and now suddenly, what she's been like outside of the house is fair game for proving how nasty she is.

I mean... come on. If we're going to go down that route - making a few nasty / ignorant tweets is a billion miles from some of the things that Jim bloody Davidson has done in his past, that we were all encouraged to "disregard"

I think it is important to differentiate between game show and reality, because it is all to easy to get the 2 mixed up. To that extent, it is important that housemates are judged by their performance in the house.

Its much easier to hold to that principle with civilian bb because usually the people are unheard of when they enter the house, although the trend to fill it with wannabees in recent years has messed that up a bit too. With celeb BB, the reason they are there is because of what they have done on the outside, so how do you suspend opinions that may have been built up over 20 or 30 or even more years. I can't.

Anyway, speaking personally and returning to the thread topic, I've seen plenty in the BB house that indicates to me that KH is not a nice person, so I'm comfortable that conclusions drawn are from what I've seen in the house.

I don't disagree with you, I should probably have pointed out that I do think their behaviour in the past is completely relevant. I think Jim Davidson winning the show is an absolute travesty. A nasty, racist, violent drunk. Sorry, sorry, poor old Jim, he didn't brutalise any women while he was in the house, we have to praise him for that. He was just a red faced passive aggressive alcoholic while he was actually in there...

Anyway, I realise this is a Hopkins thread not a Davidson thread. Just saying... We've had far more "vile" people win it in the past... So it would hardly be unprecedented.
