Petrol was almost back under a quid there for the first time in a good few years but it's already crept back up and still going.

It is good to see some things coming to lower prices however they have also risen heavily over the past 4 years too,so it is still a case of playing catch up form a fair way behind.

As for fuel, well it got down to it's lowest figure I have seen but has gone up 5p in the last 2 days alone where I am.

Things like this being a bit cheaper are well and good but until incomes start to really just begin to catch up, which is some way off yet, overall I don't see much to crow about as yet, although any change is welcome.

About time things were coming down I say, and it's also about 3 and half years at least later than it should have started to happen.
I also don't know about anyone else but one of the cheapest milk prices is at ASDA,however something doesn't seem right with their milk at present,I actually would rather pay more, since it tastes weaker.

It's all linked to the artificially low oil price which has been manipulated by the US for political reasons. Low oil price = low fuel price = lower price for transport of goods = cheaper goods.

Don't get used to it. The price per barrel for oil will rebound dramatically (as I said, it's been pushed low by US shale oil mostly for political reasons) and then it'll be price-hikes all around.

Artificially manipulated? Americas oil production has risen 4000% due to fracking.

Yes, but they have deliberately flooded the market with fracked oil to drop global prices. In my (and many other people's) opinion, anyway.
