Default 'Austerity' Drive? What Austerity Drive?

Austerity - like Charity should 'Begin At Home'. Politician (of all parties) 'Cleanse Thyself'

"£120billion of your money down the drain EVERY year"

"The alleged wasteful spending - a sixth of the total government expenditure - is more than the whole of the NHS budget and five times the amount spent by the Ministry of Defence.

A spokesman for The Tax Payers Alliance said: ' This equates to a massive £4,500 for every household in the UK - enough to give every family in the land a luxury holiday or pay their household energy bills three times over.'

If any of you think that those responsible at the Ministry of Defence for agreeing to pay private companies £22.00 for every light bulb ordered which could have been bought elsewhere for just .19 p each, weren't fraudulently lining their own pockets out of the supply company's 'bung', then you need counselling.

In the immortal words of John Lennon:

"All I am saying, is give Nige a chance."

Flaming Govt's have a cheek imposing austerity on the working masses.

When you think of the amount of Tax we pay ranging from Income Tax to VAT and Customs & Excise duties on Fuel and duty on Alcohol etc..

In fact when you look at it in detail we taxed to death in this Country , little wonder the poorer people simply cannot afford to pay tax hence the black economy.

But the real villians in this piece are the Wasteful govt's who spend billions on things like Trident and are planning to waste billions on stupid transport schemes like the HS2....?????

Coupled with the shameful way banks and big businesses are let off the hook with their tax liabilities. Billions of unpaid tax revenue just left unpaid whilst the rest of us have to scavenge around food banks to survive or worry about paying even more money for having an extra bedroom.

It is madness folks as a nation we are fleeced for every penny we have then fleeced some more...

And then we are told WE have to tighten our belts because the country has no money.... you really couldn't make this sh it up..

Taxpayers' £1m bill so all MPs have an iPad: Commons says all politicians will get £499 devices after Election
Every MP in the country is to be offered a brand new iPad worth £499 each
The cost to the tax payer for the iPad Air 2s will be more than £1 million
But the House of Commons Commission claim the move is to save money

Sound economics then, spend £1million to save £3million, that makes them quids in by £2 million.

Nobody even bothers to question these figures anymore... they just pluck them out of the air and it's accepted.
