Default Favourite Big Brother Exterior Sets

BB1 & BB2
The first two years, the house was located in Bow.
Main house fenced off from crowd. Bridge separating the main house from the crowd.
Evicted housemate would walk from the house, through the bridge, and out into the crowd.

BB3 & BB4
The first set at Elstree. Featured the stairs and the massive white building. The crowds were brought closer to the house. BB4's crowds were fenced off from the house. On Finals a special stage was put up.

BB5
The circular stage in the center of the massive crowds, along with the permanent stage with a massive screen, and outdoor interviewing area. The floor-based door with a semi-circle stage.

BB6 & BB7
The circular stage, connected to black stairs. Face of house featured a built-in screen. BB7's circular stage had diagonal walkways attached. Stage located at one end of the crowd. On Finals a long walkway is attached to the circular stage, leading to the interviewing area stage.
Screen size varied.

BB8
Similar to the previous two series. However, the circular stage moved along with the stairs. The walkway was extended from the house to the stairs.
Stage was in the middle of the crowd, unlike BB6&7, when located at one end of the crowd.

BB9 & BB10
Similar to BB6 and BB7. Introduced the ovular stage, as opposed to the circular stage present in previous years. Stage had the eye, instead of lighting designs.
Crowds decreased in size.
Screens taken down from the front.
BB10 had a small walkway attached into the ovular stage.

BB11
The Circus themed exterior, which featured a red and yellow raised carpet. The stairs changed slightly, along with a screen in front of the house returning. Crowd located at opposite side of the compound.

BB12 - Present
Eye outside the house, connected to walkway, leading to a circular stage. Spiral staircase attached. Rotating eye bridge at the top of the stairs.
Double screens, with eviction door.
Inside the eye, eviction studio, connected to another circular stage, and mini screens.
Stands.

I really like BB6-BB10 and the C5 ones. Mainly BB15, because I loved the lighting / graphics theme.

8 was kinda annoying except for the instance of Shabnam (which was still annoying, but amusing as well)

The BB8 staircase was a bit awkward at the time, but it'd probably work well with the music they play nowadays (which they did for Celeb Hijack anyway).

BB6/BB7.
I think BB7 edges it, as I loved the yellow and red lighting, that series, which made the set look nice. I liked the diagonal walkways attached to the stage, which gave Davina more room to move around.
The crowds were great that year, too.

BB8 was good. I loved the long walkway, and the multi-coloured lighting, which fitted with the eye very well.

I agree with Lostie!
BB15 had the best looking graphics and lighting which made the exterior nicer.

In all fairness, the C5 set looks better now than it did in 2011 and 2012.
It's the same, but I like the lighting and graphics these days.
Twisted Fairytale also looked nice.

BB9 is my favorite, but I also love the BB6/7 layout. BB11's is okay too, as the stands were a lot smaller than what they are now. C5's needs a change, we've had the same for 4 years now.

My favourite tho has to be be 5 because of how huge the crowd seemed I also liked that the stairs were scrapped.
BB8 is next for the iconic long platform.
Then bb6 for the classic setup. Bb7 was similar but just didn't have the same atmosphere as bb6, the crowd also seemed smaller because of this log things that stuck out of the stage.

BB8 for The Queen's Speech of "Where's the cheers man"

looking back at BB11. They somehow managed to make eviction nights look like an event again.

The crowd looked bigger than it had for a few series.

I agree. Probably because it was the last one, so they put more effort.

After BB8, the crowds got depressingly small.
For example, BB9 and BB10. BB10 was the worst. It looked like they just asked a few shoppers from Tesco's nearby, to pop down.

The C5 crowd is bigger than that of BB9 and BB10.

Has anybody else noticed that there's a chunk of the crowd missing in the current C5 set-up?

It's the part which faces the eye, which is completely blank. It's been like that since 2013. You can notice it, during evictions when they show the eviction door countdown, and the camera is panning along the stairs.

I'm pretty sure it was filled up for BB12 and BB13.
It's quite a hefty space, and much bigger in length than the two crowds parallel to the walkway and stage.
They should use that space again, so they have a much bigger crowd.

They should get rid of the ridiculous stands and stick everyone on ground level again.

They can still have the area boxed in if they need to but get rid of that crap.

Am I the only one wondering how they get the people up on those stands?
With all that scaffolding, I'm surprised no one has been impaled yet.
