She deserves no sympathy for failing to reach across the house and change her red lines

Mays downfall is that she has no political instinct of her own and relies on advisors for absolutely everything and they have ended us up in this mess.

May was the only one sad enough to take the fall for Brexit there is a reason Boris wants the job now and not then

She tried to establish her credentials for brexit by setting stringent red lines. She did that to impress the hardliners. These hardliners have been a tail wagging the dog of the tory party since before the ref. The ref result was misread by them and by May. 51.9% majority is not a "leave - yes!!" vote is more of a "leave - erm, yes?" result. Brits are not extremist. For a successful brexit she should have ignored the nutters and gone for a soft brexit with support of Labour (that's what Corbyn really wants so). That would be more than likely to get through parliament. As it is hardline nutters and her overreached themselves and ended up with the current sh1tstorm. Serves them right. I'm not complaining. Brexit is not in this country national interest no matter what right wing europhobes claim. The failure of May's plan gives some hope for more time and possible second referendum. |

[“I’m against any extension if it is not based on any clear opinion of the
House of Commons for something” says @guyverhofstadt in European Parliament. The parliament has no say on whether EU grants UK Brexit extension but views here reflect thinking of leaders who do have say] Many in the Eu are against Brexit Extension because as our Parliament can not agree on anything.
