How can that possibly fail Slim?
I'm sure all the weirdo's criticising Rashford for not sticking to sport when he helped feed underprivileged kids, will be up in arms about this move

It just reflects so poorly on us as a country, and shows we're not serious about anything and our policies are based on photo ops. We've replaced trade policy for after dinner speeches.

Botham has not played cricket since 1993 so trying to compare him to a current PL player is futile

Botham is a member of the House of Lords

Botham Nov 2020: I “will be at Westminster more often when we get back to normal, especially when they are debating something I know about – like sport or the countryside. Not much point if it’s a trade deal with Japan”
He's in the HoL because he's loyal to Boris. Botham himself said he only knows about sports and the countryside so he's debunked your post with his own words

Just to be clear for future reference, are you saying that only current sportspeople should stick to sports, but once you've retired you can speak openly and expertly about all manner of things?

That's an interesting take, for sure.

Poultry farmers say it's brexit
Nando's who said brexit wouldn't affect them, now saying it's supply side caused by brexit
beefeater said it was brexit
farmers are saying they've been lied to about brexit
Fishermen saying they've been lied to about brexit
Exactly what was said would happen is happening.
No EU countries have food shortages
Zero EU maccies forced to cancel milkshakes.

Everything that was project fear is project reality and you're suggesting it's a coincidence?

we werent able to train new hgv drivers during the pandemic, we lost a lot of drivers over brexit. The combined effect has been worse than either on their own, but the drop in drivers happened because of brexit, so it was the main cause, that cannot be denied, no matter how hard people try to deflect

The government refuse to allow EU workers to step in because they don't want foreigners here, and have said they'd rather have food shortages

The shortage is 100k drivers.

I don't understand why they want prisoners when there are 4.7% unemployed, even taking out long term sick and disabled there are still fit and healthy people able to take up work, are the prisons full of meat processors or something

oh wait they just want free labour....

It is Brexit in the main re the hgv drivers.

Without Brexit, all the hgv drivers needed were in place, so no need to have any positions to fill or in fact to train drivers either, that is for who, and if, any wanted to be trained to do it.

The problem you have, Arista, is that I'm perfectly correct about it all, and you refuse to acknowledge reality.
