Oops another bit of damning exposure https://www.channel4.com/news/reveal...on-call-centre It looks like a few laws have been broken here. Not least illegally phoning people on the Telephone Preference Service.

I am not sure yet what the implications of this story are. It looks pretty bad for them, though.

[Jeremy Corbyn: Labour is ready to negotiate Brexit

Ahead of talks with the EU's negotiator, the Labour leader says his party would conduct negotiations with Brussels "respectfully".]

I hate being right...

Theresa May has been accused of trying to snatch sweeping new powers that would allow her to scrap people’s rights after Brexit without telling Parliament.

Buried in the newly published Repeal Bill is a clause permitting ministers to tamper unhindered with employment and environmental protections as long as they deem there to be an “urgent” need.

Typical Tory move, hide all the horrible **** beneath mountains of rhetoric about immigration and Brexit to take the sheep's attention from what they are actually doing.

Just more proof that as long as you mention immigration a lot and appeal to people's bigotry you can get away with anything.

Surprised it's that high :/

Just 26 per cent of voters think Prime Minister will secure good deal for Britain

Public confidence in Theresa May’s ability to secure a positive Brexit has fallen to a record low, a new poll has revealed.

More people now think the UK will be worse off if it leaves the European Union, than those who believe it will benefit the country.

Two thirds or 66 per cent of voters say they disapprove of the way the Government is handling Brexit negotiations,

They do indeed but I think you will also find that many/most of those voters are aware that is largely down to the unreasonable demands of the EU who are doing their best to sabotage Brexit.

They should appoint some kind of powerful independent group to participate/oversea all negotiations as it is a unbalanced biased mess at the moment. And I don’t mean the so-called newspaper.

The newspaper you yourself quoted today?... OK.

How on earth could there be an independent group... we elect the group we want as our spokespersons and diplomats, that's their job, who else would we have? :/

The main EU big wigs such as Juncker are clearly biased and their motives to ensure the failure of Brexit clear. Several high ranking people from other European countries have been critical of their behaviour. There needs to be a an independent body who can be more professional overseeing the process. It isn’t rocket science.

I hate being right sometimes...

'Senior Conservative MP Ken Clarke has warned there are some Government ministers who are “not excessively fond of workers’ rights” and retaining them after Brexit.

The comments from the former Chancellor came during the second of eight late-night sittings in the Commons on the EU (Withdrawal) Bill – the legislation that aims to transpose EU law onto the UK statue book after Brexit.

But the Government avoided any serious backbench rebellion after five amendments to the bill were voted down by MPs in the Commons on Wednesday evening.'
