20th sounds better, as it's not too early, and not too late.

I just want every single one of the 14 housemates to enter the house, on Day 1, TBH.
No split-launch, and no housemates entering later in the week. Add 3 new housemates in Week 3 or 4, to add some new blood.

Hopefully they won't have another split-launch this year, as it rated so badly last year.

They can even make the launch night two hours instead of an hour and a half, like they did for CBB14, and CBB15 so they can fit in all the 14-16 housemates as well as some time for the obligatory god-awful TWIST THAT WILL ROCK THE HOUSE TO IT'S OUTER CORE!!!!!
Although I've only seen BB5-7 and 15, I think new HMs aren't really needed as early as you've said. It's about the week 6 or 7 mark where the fatigue begins to set in and a shake up is needed.

With regards to launch night twists I thought the BB14 and BB15 launch twists were very good - very well thought out and 'shocking' without influencing the whole series (I am not referring to BB15's second launch by the way - the pass to the final of course was a bad idea). The CBB15 twist was just horrendously bad and so lame - Katie Hopkins basically got to choose who was up for eviction for nothing. I would much prefer twists that aren't focussed on one particular HM - and if they do involve a particular HM (like CBB14 and BB9) then it can't be as lame as Katie Hopkins' twist!

Week 6/7 is too late for a ten week series, IMO.
This happened with BB15, where they introduced 3 new housemates in Week 6.

I think Week 4 is fine for some new housemates, in a ten week series.
As four would have already gone, so two or three can enter.

Week 6 for a 13 week series is fine. Like BB7.

They need to shake up the launch night twists a bit.
Why not have a launch night task, instead or something.

I didn't mind the BB14 launch night twist, it worked well, but that suitcase shredding thing was stupid.
Any housemate with a brain would know they can't destroy your personal belongings, which you've spent your own money on.

I really doubt it. The seventh is in two weeks (and a day) and we haven't even gotten the eye yet.
For CBB15, we got the theme, information and eye on the 8th December 2014 if I recall - 30 days before launch night.
With that in mind, I really doubt that we'd be getting it in two weeks (especially on the same day as the election), but I wouldnt dismiss the possibility

I don't think the BB15 HMs entered too late. It was just that it was a very nasty bunch of people who were already in the house who were not willing to trust them. 4 and a half weeks is enough to get to know a HM.

That's a good idea, a launch night task! It would be interesting if the HMs entered to see some scary-looking task apparatus.

And that never occurred to me actually about BB14! You're right, surely they knew!
