TV couple Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan are reportedly in talks to join the Strictly Come Dancing 2015 line up.



The pair are said to have met producers ahead of this year’s show but while Richard is happy to take on the challenge it sounds as though partner Judy may take some more convincing.

“They looked very pleased with themselves as they left a room with three media types,” an onlooker to the meetup in London said this week. “It was obvious that it was a gathering to discuss work – but then Richard gave the game away when he enthusiastically started singing the Strictly theme tune.”

A Strictly source told Bella magazine that Strictly chiefs are keen to get the husband and wife telly hosting duo both onto the show this autumn.



“Richard and Judy are household names and bosses reckon they’d be brilliant on the show,” they said. “They were top of the list and the meeting went well. But Judy took a bit of persuading.”

While the start of this year’s Strictly is still way off, a number of other names have also already been linked to the show including TV presenter Adrian Chiles and selfie-obsessed Labour councillor Karen Danczuk.

Sharon Osbourne, Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford are all also wanted for the new series, but Michelle Keegan has said no to the show for now.
