Where's the Perez factor in this show? Boring people all alike. Not one of them will make this edition any fun to watch.

I disagree, I'm really enjoying it. No need for another "Perez".

I'm quite enjoying it at the moment. I loved Perez but I'm enjoying the slow-ish pace the show is moving at atm.

I'd rather have this than a really bitchy house ala BB15 tbh.

Bit fed up seeing all these boring threads. We are a week into the series for gods sake. Personally I am enjoying this series. It's a nice change to not have to witness the continual shouting , nastiness and yelling that we had to endure in the last series. Although there is a long way to go , I think the producers have made an attempt at moving this BB more towards what I consider BB should be about, good tasks and a bit of fun. Arguments will always occur in this situation and are part of BB but I found the relentless arguing and shouting of last series unpleasant and draining. It was crying out for some fun times to balance it out.
As for Perez, the less said the better as far as I am concerned. I couldn't stand him and would never want to see him or anyone like him on my TV screen again. |

Perez was obviously great TV, and he sent Jack in for Cristian which is nice.
But I don't think it's Perez this series needs, there are some decent Housemates in there, but they're being pushed to the background for far too often.

It was the producers shoving them down our throats non-stop every night for 3 weeks that did it for me. Perez wasn't even popular. He was like 1% away from being evicted against a dyslexic glamor model (the least winning BB archetype) in a vote to save. Still gutted Alicia went over him. Alicia was entertaining, without being OTT, to the point where it got draining. |

It's definitely bubbling a lot slower than the last few series but I kind of like it.

mhmm that's the richest part of it all, there wasn't even a fanbase there. Channel 5 producers just seem petrified of new storylines taking off. They spot their potential storylines early on and try to milk them for all their worth, instead of letting evictions naturally change things up and develop different relationships in the house. A whole series of Hopkins vs. Perez ruined what could've been a great series if the focus was put on some others.

Same.
I think they've learned from their mistakes during BB15 and CBB14/15, in regards to conflict-dominant series. Especially CBB15, as the conflict in that series got so draining it tarnished the ratings of the last week, impacting the overall average of the series. |

Especially putting Perez in a secret room and forcing him to stay when he wanted to walk. Perez didn't bring ratings for CBB15. The first week rated well, and that had nothing to do with Perez. It was the cast of CBB15, as well as the hype. If they didn't spend the second half of the series shoving him and Hopkins down our throats, CBB15 would've averaged higher, IMO. Maybe 3.2m. |

People do realise that Alicia had a big fan base right?

I wish they'd invite her on BOTS. Actually no, she deserves better than trashy spin-offs.

I liked Alicia, she only got stick for her plastic surgery and for taking on UKIP's precious Hopkins.
