Default Any theories as to why

Channel 5 can produce successful CBB's but manage to cock up the civilian version? Is it simply because the celebrities have contracts and are all paid to go in? Surely Channel 5 can see that sticking to a clearer format (as CBB13 and CBB15 did) made a better series than Power Trip and Timebomb have?

We had a semi-normal first two weeks but due to ratings being down they've decided now is the right time to cock it all up

Why don't they just check online forums to see what the diehard fans (who'll be more likely to stick with the show) want? ... Its sad that we've reached a point where producer manipulation is less prevalent in the U.S format

Yes, you've been told repeatedly...

The LIVE FEED

You already know the celebs. You don't know anything about the civilians... Without the live feed you can't get to know them

Live feed has nothing to do with it.
Get over it Beetlemilk.

It's not coming back. if it makes you feel any better, you can always reminisce of 2000-2008.

It has EVERYTHING to do with it. You cannot know nor care about these people without it and so the producers are left having to use desperate twist after desperate twist to get people talking about the show. That is and always has been the root of every problem BB on Channel 5 has ever had. And it will continue to fail until that problem is rectified.

Once you've done that, people will start talking about the housemates throughout the day and they will not have to become over reliant on daft twists to keep interest up.

And if they do not understand this now, as some of you people still do not, then the show is dead.
