Funny thing is Davina also presented Popstars. So she knew who Steph was.

Found a picture of her at the time.

Also found this very interesting video of Steph and a BB3 looking Davina, on the show. It's weird thinking they met 6 years earlier. I wonder if Davina remembered her?

She also made it to Judges' Houses with Louis in The X Factor a few years ago, she was part of a duo called Poisonous Twin.

Just to bump this thread... BB9 is similar to BB6 IMO in that there are very few likable HMs, but it is entertaining to watch with all the hostility. There are too many bores though.

I think it's roughly on a par with BB8 tbh.

Vile series ruined by Darnell and Rex! Lisa and Sara were the only entertaining ones and I also liked Rachel. Some good HM's did leave early too

I still think that eviction order is phenomenally perfect as well.

Not sure what was supposed to be great about any of that rancid group but then I didn't really care for B-Block either.

Rachel, Lisa and Mario (with hints of Kathrea when she wasn't tedious) >>> the rest can do one.

Dale and Stuart were so good looking <3 Probably the two best looking male HMs ever.

I disagree that Lisa and Sara were the only entertaining ones. Sara in her first 2.5 weeks hasn't done much. I do like her though.

I rewatched the first couple of weeks last year and loved them, a lot happened in those early weeks. And even if the later weeks are less compelling by comparison, the B Block vs Whisper Club feud that runs throughout the majority of the series is still a great hook imo. Especially with the fact that the Whisper Club were pretty much culled one by one.

Yeah, with a few exceptions I thought BB9 had the most satisfying evictions on the whole. The only evictees throughout the entire series I wish survived were Stephanie, Belinda and Kathreya.

BB9 also provided my favourite ever winner, such a satisfying end to the series.

I'd like to carry on with my rewatch eventually, this just reignited my interest.

Yeah, Weeks 1-3 were FULL of drama! Possibly one of the best series starts ever. Weeks 4 and 5 slumped, but the House Divide has really reignited my interest, and the way that the B-Block vs Whispher Club thing works with it is compelling. The house dynamics are still changing constantly, so I'm still hooked.

It still annoys me that Lisa and Katreya just missed the final when they should have been there instead of Darnell and Rex

One week left of BB9 and I actually think it's a bloody good series. I guess the HMs aren't quite as memorable and colourful as they were in the 'Golden Years' but it is still bloody watchable with the whole Rex vs Mikey thing, Sara vs the boys, Kathreya's downfall, Lisa's happy ending.

And I can't wait for the surprise double eviction.

I may even say it's better than BB7?

I don't think it's better than BB7 but it is a really good series. I haven't watched it since it aired but I remember enjoying it. And it had a great winner

I need a re-watch of both BB9 and BB10 so I can finally end the debate of which one is the better series out of the two. I'm currently re-watching BB8.

And no BB9 is not better than BB7.

I just think it sustains better to the end than BB7. And I daresay BB9 had less deadweight HMs? Hmm I'm not so keen on the winner, it of the Final Seven I think it should have been Mike or Sara. I mean Rach hardly featured in Week 12.

I think it might be. I'm seeing them all on a level playing field, but I think BB9 at the time aired at a time where the BBUK franchise was much more tired than in BB7.

Yeah you're right that it was probably more consistently good, BB7 definitely lagged near the end, but I think the high points of BB7 outweigh the bad stuff, and BB9 never really reached those heights for me. I remember at the time loving Sara, and Lisa too. And more than anything, I was just glad that Rex didn't win

Yeah I guess BB7 was more iconic, and has more shining beacon moments and HMs if you know what I mean.

But the first three weeks of BB9, and also the first few weeks of the House Divide, and also Nicole's presence were fantastic periods.

Yeah, Rex got his comeuppance though, with the Get Rex Out chants during Lisa's eviction!
