Angry Shut up Joel

I thought Joel was supposed to be intelligent and know about politics?

Everything he said about the Tories was a load of rubbish. Sorry, but it really winds me up when people say that they're the party of people that work hard.
Load of rubbish propaganda.

I agree. I feel like he's swallowed the entirety of their manifesto and doesn't give a crap about politics in general, just egging on the party.

lol I was gonna make a thread like this, I like Joel but his political opinions drive me insane. Someone send me in there to argue with him

He said one of the things that has annoyed me the most over the last couple of months, that the Tories were responsible for the tax threshold increase when it was a Lib Dem policy that now all the main parties have jumped on. Them claiming credit for the good things in the last parliament that were mostly the Lib Dem's doing annoys me to no end

I just sat shaking my head at the notion that they're the 'real party of working people' as well rofl what a great joke

Yeah it drives me up the wall when people say that. Say what you want but any intelligent person claiming to know about politics should know that's a load of tosh.

Load of rubbish propaganda.
Unfortunately a lot of voters actually believed all that when the Conservatives were it saying as well in the election passed.
I will never agree with his politics but I still like him and would have loved to have been able to chat with him on that issue and challenge him on it too.

The sad thing was, Chloe just was impressed with it,never analysing it,just swallowing it all as sadly,(as I said before), too many voters did too.

The cabaret show he put on has all been learnt in his bedroom with gushy mummy being his audience, telling him what a clever boy he is because he knows a couple of chart songs ...... I bet my house he's never been on a night out in his pathetic little life

I would watch him as a dead pan presenter on BBBOTS but that's about it. I have nothing against Joel personally other than he does some strange things and he's very arrogant....hmm maybe I don't like him very much after all.

Very true. Before they went into coalition, the Tories would never have dreamt of raising the point at which people start paying tax, yet five years later they've claimed it as their own and there is barely a Liberal Democrat left in Parliament.

However, when you see how little political awareness there is in the BB house (and I mean basic things like knowing who the Prime Minisiter is) this year and in previous series, it's not surprising that the youth vote is so diminished. I guess we should give Joel some small credit for being vaguely alert, even if his 'facts' are flawed...or maybe not!

The same thought crossed my mind, that at least he cares about politics and has made some effort to educate himself about policies. More-so than most his age (including myself when I was that age). It's just the propaganda that does my nut in about them being a working people's party.

His ideas about the Tory Party being solely about the rich is from the 1970s.

There is a ciggie paper between the Tory and Labour ideologies.

Also, is Chloe a bit thick?? The way she was looking at Joel. She was wide-eyed with this wow attitude. Unbelievable for someone who is 25 years old. Based on that, I don't think her IQ is very high.

It is very easy to understand people like Joel. You first need to look at the parents. His mum is a pushy, gushy and obviously a driven woman. She looks like a bad version of mutton dressed as lamb and is probably living out her fantasies through her only child Joel. His dad seems hen pecked so Joel has been reared in a female dominant environment and his position in the house has been stage managed right down to his geeky haircut.

Every week he seems to bring a different dimension to his character and most of his arguments are well placed and stage managed for maximum effect. Obviously his team has studied the best way to win and they seem to be blending loads of different former personalities from the house into a singularly stage managed persona which is designed to win the show.

This guy is a super cloned BB persona in a geeky body that at times looks like he is only renting that body as his mind tends to wander to other normal teenager things which in time will kill him off. I dislike him as much as I dislike Nick but Joel has a different undercurrent working for him, he is a man of many faces, all stage managed and designed for a purpose.

You may be right about Joel's mother but, from memory, based on her appearance on BBBOTS the other night...still would!

His mother isn't that old I bet. I think she might only be 40. Still young.

A milf, but not an old hag. I wouldn't say she was mutton dressed as lamb either. Everyone is entitled to dress up.
