I love BB to bits and the days of the funny tasks, the pain and suffering these lab rats are put through and the social experiment we observe was the reason to watch. Nowadays the only thing missing is the bed in the middle of the room for the live sex and the octagon for the blood thirsty.
The producers seem to be making the running order up on the morning of the show and are making their own rules up as they go along. Aaron was ejected for a lewd and unacceptable act, but in fairness Marc has done worse yet is left alone. Danny has committed what can best be described as a really weird and concerning aggressive action, Even numb nits Bellend has moved from being Mr Funguy to being viewed as an unstable nasty piece of work and when you throw the passive aggressive actions of some of the others into the mix, this series is heading for a massive bust up. The producers are driving this series into a dark and desperate pit and it will surely spell the end if they are not careful. I can see Danny loosing it and Marc ripping his poxy little head off live on TV. It appears to me that Marc has them all scared of him and Danny isn't buying it. He shows aggression quite a lot as if to say to Marc, I am not frightened of you and his plan seems to be to push Marc over the edge and is inviting Marc to slap him down and get evicted so King Danny can rule the roost like he thinks is his prerogative. He was flicking a cushion at him last night to invoke a fight and the split in the house is now getting uncomfortable to watch. I like Marc but don't condone violence. I love Helen but she can go a bit OTT at times. I like the flirty side of the show but when prostitutes like Harry are given a platform to promote their wares, it gets sickening and I love the odd game play but when it comes out the way Nick, Joel and Danny are playing it, the show looses something. It is getting so bad this year that its looking like the winner will come from a really nasty bunch and I personally put this down to the selection process and how the producers are being manipulated at the interview stage and these dregs of society are being let in to promote their own self worth and sleazy characters for personal gain and the show as we know it has all but died. So in closing who is at fault....the producers...we don't need Helen or belo in there now, we don't need the violence and we certainly shouldn't support what they are doing by spending money on them. |

great post, I agree with it completely. I've never watched a BB before and been without a favourite at this stage in the game. That's proof enough for me that BB is no longer a show aimed at entertaining me.

Agree with some points.
The producers also can't seem to handle change or unexpected turns, so if a hm acts differently to favoured script, it either is edited out leaving a gap or buried on C5 website. For example if Joel is ripping Sam to shreds it won't be aired or edited to not make Joel look nasty, as his character trait is the reasoned unruffled, shrewd mild mannered weasel politician. |
