Default Banner Protection?

On piczo sites there is a way you can stop people taking your pictures

Is there anyway you can do that for your banners

That's with some HTML code and cause you have to put on your own banners, I think you'll have to do it yourself. Not sure.

But if you put a protection over them
people can still use the Print Screen button

So really it wouldn't make a lot of difference if you know what I mean

You can over-ride that protection. My secret though and it's not print screen.

It's true, there's ways around it...
Having your name on things always helps, whilst making sure it's hard to edit/remove.

Eg. don't have a plain white banner with a picture, with your name in black. All they have to do is paint over the text with white and put their name in its place.

Some people decide to keep proof of the fact they made their banner =] which helps incase you run into someone else who's using it.

If someone does manage to steal your banner without you knowing [which could quite possibly be happening right now.] there's not a whole lot you can do about it, unless you find them/confront them/expose them etc.

Shove a watermark on it?
&Make sure it's not easy to take off?

I'd slap a watermark on it, then attempt to remove it yourself.

I've managed to remove watermarks from gettyimages before for graphics using the clone tool in PS, so you'll need to make it hard to remove.

I think the only way to stop people taking your banners would be to put your name on them.
