Default Helen\'s Hair

I have just spotted the following on the Wella, Red Nose Day site.

http://www.wella.co.uk/ComicReliefNews

Wella is thrilled to team up with bid-up.tv the engaging, fast-paced and fun TV auction channel, to auction some celebrity locks for a bit of Comic Relief.

If you would like to bid for a barnet and raise some money for Comic Relief , but be quick because they could be hair today, gone tomorrow!

Get bidding for these celebrity locks -

Helen Adams A hairdresser herself, our favourite Welsh blonde beauty couldn't wait to give us one of her blonde locks. This lot is sure to go to a Big Brother fan for a 'blinking' good price.

She is part of a celebrity package.
http://www.bid-up.tv/bdup_front_promotion.asp?Id=21

The estimated price for the package is....£1,200. eeek!!!

As much as I love Helen I don't think much to the others in the group with her
now if they put mr clarke in the package with her there would be much more interest

Yeah, you're right. I would have thought some people would pay good money not to own a lock of Angus Deayton's hair, for example.

As much as it is lovely to see our Helen mentioned again, I don't think I'll be bidding for this one somehow.

Bit over the top as far as my finances are concerned. Think they would probably do better if they split them up.

Though I think I might have pushed the boat out if Mr Clarke had been included!!!!

Well, it seems that Helen's hair - as part of the Celebrity Pack - raised £302 for Comic Relief.

CLICK HERE to see what the other locks went for. Dolly the sheep's hair made more than Neil & Christine Hamilton!!!

Glad you put this up Kaz because I was 99% sure I saw Helen on the Wella spot of Comic Relief night, just after the 10 celeb hairdressers were introduced. They showed a very brief glimpse of a number of people's finished hairdo's - and there was one which looked uncannily like Helen with her hair in bunches - just as she had for Bubbles birthday night.

I was very tired at the time and it was 'blink and you miss it' - but now I am sure it was her. Pity they didn't use her to better effect.

I saw it too ROB, it was on the screen behind Carol Vorderman, yeah?

It was very quick, but I was out Friday night so I recorded it which meant I could rewind and check and Im pretty sure it was her!

I went to bed just before the Wella thing was on. If only I'd known. I missed a glimpse of Helen

Thanks James, I KNEW I wasn't seeing things! Doesn't she look great! What a shame they didn't have her in the studio at all.
