I know alot of you are from India and know Shilpa from there. I was just wondering what the press is like for Shilpa over there? I have read she got alot of bad press surrounding her parents corruption charges and mafia links.
The excerpts of telephone conversations allegedly reveal how Shilpa's parents used the underworld to recover modelling dues of Rs 80 lakh from a saree manufacturer in Surat. Shilpa's father, Surendra, got bail from a court here after a case was registered against him and his wife.

Now this was quite some years ago according to an article I have read. Does Shilpa still get any backlash from this or is it all forgotten?
