Why do some people have a problem with gameplayers?
So, if I'm playing Monopoly for example, I really hope that the people I'm playing against lose. I want to get all the best properties for myself and bankrupt everyone as soon as possible. Even though they're my friends. Because it's a game. Does this make me a bad person?
Why do some people find it so offensive that a Big Brother contestant, who has applied to go on a gameshow, would want to, er, win the gameshow? Regarding Nick tonight, even if Chloe was his best friend in the whole world, all he's doing is pushing himself closer to the final and decreasing her chances of getting there, but in the context of this being a game (which they all want to win), why is that a bad thing? And why would it mean they can't still be friends? I genuinely don't get it, it'd be like playing tennis with someone that just stands there and doesn't hit the ball back (Chloe) because what, losing is admirable? Help me understand lol!
