I got this trilogy for my birthday after wanting to read them for quite a while so I'm really looking forward to getting stuck in. Northern Lights especially sounds like it will be a good read for the autumn / winter months approaching.
 I'm about a chapter in so far so I've not read much but I definitely like what I've read and am looking forward to getting further into the story, I just wondered if anyone else here had read them and what their thoughts were. From everything I've heard and read about them, I'm optimistic that I'll love the series.
