Default Judges Houses confirmed to be live.

This year’s judges’ houses stage of The X Factor will air live, it has been confirmed.

Although Xtra Factor host Rochelle Humes seemingly announced the news on This Morning earlier this year, bosses have now verified reports.

However, contestants first will have to sing in front of the judges in an arena audition to prove their worth, before moving through to Boot Camp, which kicks off in a grand country house.

Another show first will then see the public decide which judge gets which category via a live Twitter vote.

Boot Camp will then continue with the return of the dreaded Six Chair Challenge, before the contestants progress to a spot at the Judges’ Houses.

During this stage, viewers will be able to watch the drama unfold as it happens with live performances, followed by the judges making their decisions.

Once the live shows begin, viewers will be able to vote for free once again using the official X Factor app.

The X Factor returns to ITV on Saturday at 8pm.

Here for them stringing out the reveals for live broadcast and playing the wrong music.
