Exactly, they should concentrate less on these trivial things, and do their jobs!

OMG! WOW!
The complaints must really be filling up!

CH4 better just do something, at least a warning. They are in deep trouble.

It may be a serious matter, but there are many more-serious matters that need discussing at the moment, I don't think this is a job for parliament. A job for channel 4 bosses maybe, I find this so ridiculous. Bullying goes on everyday, whatever happens, parliament isn't going to sort it by saying a few short paragraphs about Big Brother, they'll have to alot more than that, so if they don't intend to, just leave the subject well alone. As I said channel 4 bosses should concern themselves with this, not the parliament

Shilpa Shetty row: MP raises motion
Tuesday January 16, 04:06 PM

Labour MP Keith Vaz has tabled an early day motion in the House of Commons about the treatment of Celebrity Big Brother contestant Shilpa Shetty.
Mr Vaz said members of his Leicester East constituency had contacted him about alleged racism on the Channel 4 show.

The early day motion (EDM) reads: "This House views with concern the comments made about Big Brother contestant Shilpa Shetty by other housemates; believes that Big Brother has a role to play in preventing racist behaviour in the Big Brother house; regrets that these comments have been made; and calls on the programme to take urgent action to remind housemates that racist behaviour is unacceptable."

EDMs are used by MPs to highlight an issue and appear on the Commons Order Paper each day.

Mr Vaz said: "I have been contacted by constituents who have expressed concern that apparently racist comments in the Big Brother house have passed without any response from the Big Brother programme.

"We would not tolerate this kind of racism on other types of television programme and we should not do so on a programme that is watched by millions of people."

It is not the first time Celebrity Big Brother has been mentioned in the Commons.

Last January Labour MP Chris Bryant questioned how contestant George Galloway had managed to sign a series of Early Day Motions while locked up in the Big Brother house.

Speaker Michael Martin later cleared him of any wrongdoing.

What taunts?
We do not know what Jack said because it was cut.
Danielle called her a 'dog', So what? She has a right to say what she thinks. If she thinks she looks like a dog then she can it.
Jade has spoke about her being fake - This isnt raceist or bullying, This is Jades opioion.

I dont know were all this Raceist Bullying has come from - Its completely stupid.

Just watch Sky News and i agree with Jo, who sent a e-mail in.

She said that it wasnt to with race and more of a clash of personailtys and that the race card is pulled once to many times by minorities when it come to these sort of situations.

Point is secrets, bullying is anywhere and everywhere these days, Parliament saying a few words about BBs' encounter with it, isn't going to solve anything in the big picture. The only thing they can really do to put a stop to bullying in the BB house, is axe the show, as producers etc have no control over what the housemates might say. Butr I think people should open their eyes a little, Big Brother is a reality tv show, nothing's watered down for the lighthearted, these bullying issues are happening everywhere, I don't think axing BB is going to solve it in any way.

Besides, we all watch BB to see how people react in certain social situations, It's not going to be all chocolate and roses, it's supposed to be a reflection of todays society.
