I think they knew that no one would save Farrah, apart from Jenna, because of the 'get Farrah out' crowd outside.

Everyone else is looking for themselves or just doesn't like the girl.

You underestimate how the general public love a good victim in BB, plus James and Austin would've been splitting votes so I'm not sure on that result.
