Default a silly question?

i was watching sky news and hearing the air raid sirens i was wondering if in the unlikely event there was an air raid in the uk- is there still the sirens from ww2? or not?
is there massive air raid bunkers for mere mortals?

It's not a silly question at all!

Apparently the sirens are still in perfect working condition, and if there was to be an air raid on this country the sirens will sound.

I don't know about shelters though, I'm sure some still exist from WW2 and I'm positive Tony Blair and his cohorts have a very nice well stocked bunker!

To be honest, I don't think anything will happen here, we and the USA are too strong for anyone to dare invade or attack.
