...and the irony as well is that some who are part of the pack have themselves been subjected to it as well in the past but it's that thing isn't it....that wanting to be part of what's perceived to be the 'in crowd'...that longed for 'acceptance' and then they're becoming a part of it themselves with others...this is not just gamepodfan, it's been with many newer members and also previously banned members when they've returned...oh, we like you, you're ok so we'll chat to you in the chat threads (because we decide)..or nope, we'll just ignore you or snipe and prod or we'll just turn a blind eye and ignore it when it happens....so then you'll react and flip and be banned again..ha2 LOLZ, well it was just that person causing drama again wasn't it, we're all innocent...in real life, I have never heard the term 'irrelevant' being applied to anyone..who the hell is anyone that they feel so superior and a 'higher pecking order' that they consider another human being and another forum member irrelevant or in any way lesser to themselves...you can't do this/you can't do that/that's not how 'we' do it here/look at you with your 150 posts, hush up and sit down...so if someone who isn't familiar with forum rules etc and that there may be ways of doing things, does something that you think is not quite right like starting a game without the right permissions..?...then offer something constructive in advising them and stop with the criticism and put downs/the silly snidey remarks and poking fun at...think of how you would feel if these remarks were directed at you...think of how you did feel and were sometimes made to feel when you weren't part of that 'pack'...because it wasn't that long ago really, was it...

..oh and it's not just members either who are deemed 'irrelevant'...how irrelevant was Riggins Retreat or The Lounge in terms of a chat thread until behaviour has got the other one closed...well their irrelevance was because they have never ever contained packs but they're very relevant now it seems...seriously, try to step back and look at this because it's a very real thing atm and has been for a little while ...it's not big, it's not clever and it's extremely grim ...and it most definitely does not make someone part of a 'cool crowd' because it's far from being cool...

I am baffled by all this.

I was nice to GPF on the few times we had contact and I had/have no problem with him, but our paths did not cross really.

As to the other thread, I spontaneously laughed out loud at the video cover (whether it was GPF or not who was featured) in the same manner that I often laugh out loud at LT's posts or Marsh's - because I have a very broad and deep sense of humour and it was genuinely funny. I make no apologies for that.

I really do not understand where the 'bullying' aspect comes in as far as the other thread is concerned, but I am not au fait with GPF and his relationship with other 'young' game-playing members, so perhaps there is some 'sinister' aspect to some of the posts - singularly or collectively - that I do not recognise.

I see only mild 'mickey-taking' and lots of jovial banter punctuated by lots of 'joker' and 'laugh' emoticons - which, perhaps, support the general brevity and light-heartedness of the majority of posts.

Anyway, I have never bullied anyone in my life, deplore all forms of bullying, and sincerely hope that I was NOT included in any allegation or suggestion of 'bullying' because I was not.

Personally, I do not see where the majority of members were either.

But it's not just about being "cool", I enjoy speaking with the people that I'm supposedly in a "pack" with and I can't be bothered to not speak to them just to please the odd few. And it's not like we're isolating ourselves either, it's actually others isolating us because of this pack business. That's how I feel anyway. The only people who associate us together are those who aren't us.

I don't think the chat threads are about being relevant or irrelevant.

The reason Riggins Retreat was used less was because it's only frequented by people who use the chat threads a lot less and didn't like to use the main lounge or the other because they don't associate much with the members who use it.

(For example, hence Drew's move from Riggins to the Lounge once the other members came in).
