Anyone ever heard of or seen this? It was a Most Haunted Live sort of thing that aired on Halloween night in 1992 about a "live" paranormal investigation in a haunted house. It was totally fictional (and not even actually live) but it terrified people who thought it was real and caused a heap of controversy.
![]() I like how they made it as realistic as possible with real TV personalities like Michael Parkinson, that's probably what helped sell it as real (obviously that wouldn't happen nowadays what with the whole found footage genre). I haven't seen it all the way through but I've seen various parts of it and the fact that it created such a big storm afterwards is quite fascinating. ) but everything I've read just really intrigues me. Probably because I'm accustomed to a time where there's no way there'd be a widespread belief that it was all genuine. The ending with Parkinson is really creepy, I can imagine people who believed it being really disturbed by that especially.
