The Launch: Part 1

Davina: This winter, 12 housemates will endure the coldest experience Big Brother has to offer.. twist, tasks, BIG BROTHER IS BACK!

*Theme Tune*

Davina: Hello and Welcome to a very special series of Big Brother: Winter Trip!

Davina: Tonight, we will meet 12 complete strangers who will be launching themselves into Big Brothers Coldest Series yet. Throughout September & October, Big Brother has searched the country for the loudest, funniest and bitchiest bunch yet. And for the last 3 weeks they have been in hiding across the country. Which means they've read no newspapers, checked the internet, spoken to friends or family. But tonight, they will be released into that house!

Davina: Not only that, Big Brother has transformed the house from a summer paradise into an ice palace. With icicles all over the wall, snow all over the floor and most importantly, a plastic snowman in the garden! Who we've named BlankSpace

Davina: We are set for our coldest series yet, and the housemates will feel the heat later on tonight.. when Big Brother will drop his first twist just minutes after they have all entered.. But I think before any of that, we need to meet our housemates! Here is housemate #1..

Housemate #1

Name: Michelle Hughes
Age: 39
Location: Brighton
Job: Teacher

Question 1: What will you be like in the house?
"I'm going to be calm but confrontational. If I don't like something, I'll say something. But unlike most other people, I won't shout and I won't scream. I'll pull people up politely and if they start shouting, sod them, they're making a fool of themselves!"

Question 2: Why are you going into the house?
"I'm going into the house for the experience, and I want to win the prize fund aswell! I've been a massive fan of Big Brother since it launched 15 years ago and I've just always wanted to be on it!"

Question 3: Do you think you can win?
"I think I can, I'm fun and entertaining and I'm not some fame hungry person going onto Big Brother just to be instant celebrities!"

Davina: Ladies and gentlemen, It's Michelle!

*Michelle hops out of the car to cheers from the crowds. While she walks towards the house, Davina reads out facts about her*

*Michelle enters the house and stumbles down the stairs*

Michelle: Bloody hell, that was intense!

Michelle: Anyone home? Ah, I must be the first one in!

Davina: So Michelle is in!

Davina: But I think she seems a bit lonely in there, so let's throw in another one! It's Housemate #2

Housemate #2

Name: George Bryant
Age: 28
Location: Plymouth (born in New York City)
Job: Restaurant Owner

Question 1: What will you be like in the house?
"I'm going to try and make friends, I'll try to avoid arguments if I can. I'm going to be a team player and I'll do anything for our shopping tasks and everyday tasks. "

Question 2: Why are you going into the house?
"Since moving to the UK in 2007, I've been obsessed with Big Brother UK and I just applied for the sake of it and I got in!"

Question 3: Do you think you can win?
"I don't think I will win, or reach the final for that matter. I know there will be loudmouths in there who will probably ruin my chances of winning, but you never know, I'm going to keep an open mind on things"

Davina: It's George!

*George climbs out of the car to a mixed reaction from the crowd, with one member of the audience yelling 'BORING' he pauses to have his photo taken and he rushes up the stairs and into the house*

George: ******* ****, tough crowd man

Michelle: Hello! *she rushes over and hugs George*

George: I'm George, and you are?

Michelle: Nice to meet you George, I'm Michelle. We're the only ones here!

George: Aha, shall we open the champagne?

Michelle: I was going to wait, but sod it

George: So where are you from?

*Camera cuts back to Davina*

Davina: So it looks like George and Michelle are getting on! After the break, we will be throwing in four more strangers, don't go anywhere!

The Launch - Part 2

Davina: Hello and welcome back to the live launch of Big Brother: Winter Trip!

Davina: Before the break, the house opened its doors to its first two residents. But 10 more are yet to enter so let's crack on with Housemate #3!

Housemate #3

Name: Andrea Reed
Age: 24
Location: London
Job: Greggs Worker

Question 1: What will you be like in the house?
"I'm like marmite, you're going to love me or hate me, there's no in-between with me. If somebody starts, I'll make their life hell, I'll be in their face yelling and screaming and scaring them. I know I'll end up facing the public vote every week, but I don't give a ****!"

Question 2: Why are you going into the house?
"To boost my career, I currently work in Greggs which isn't the nicest of jobs. I want to peruse my career in modelling, even if I'm evicted in Week 1, it doesn't matter"

Question 3: Do you think you can win?
"Nope, I'll be considered as the house ***** so I'll probably be voted out early on, but bring it on Big Brother! I'm coming for you!"

Davina: Ladies and gentlemen.. It's Andrea!

*Andrea jumps out of the car to hear loud boo's, she provokes the crowd even more by sticking up her middle finger before posing to have her photo taken. Then she slowly walks up the stairs and waves before going through the doors*

Andrea: Hahahahahahaha, what a bunch of losers. Hey everyone *She waves to George & Michelle*

Michelle: Hi, I'm Michelle and you are?

Andrea: I'm Andrea, I just got boo'd and it was so funny

Michelle: Come and have a glass of champagne

George: Hey Andrea, I'm George *they hug*

*Camera cuts back to Davina*

Davina: Loudmouth Andrea is in the house, but I think there's room for another so here is Housemate #4!

Housemate #4

Name: Will Parson
Age: 28
Location: Coventry
Job: Personal Trainer

Question 1: What will you be like in the house?
"I'm just going to be friendly but fair, I won't take no for an answer and I won't take crap from anyone else. I always have the last word"

Question 2: Why are you going into the house?
"I have no idea, I just signed up and boom I'm here and I'm going in"

Question 3: Do you think you can win?
"Absolutely, I think I have the right personality and personally, I think I'm fun. So I guess we'll see what happens "

Davina: It's Will!

*Will climbs out of the car to cheers from the crowd, a few boo's can be heard. He pauses to have his photo taken and he slowly walks towards the house doors*

Will: Oh my goodness, that was something!

Andrea: Tell me about it, what's your name?

Will: I'm Will, and what's your name?

Michelle: I'm Michelle, lovely to meet you *she barges past Andrea and hugs Will*

Will: Where's the champagne at?

George: Hey I'm George, nice to meet you

Will: Nice to meet you mate *they both shake hands*

*Camera cuts back to Davina*

Davina: Well, Wills in and I think it's time to meet Housemate #5!

Housemate #5

Name: Jessica Perry
Age: 24
Location: Lancaster
Job: Model / Student

Question 1: What will you be like in the house?
"I don't know what I'll be like, it depends what mood I'm in. If I'm in a bad mood, I'll yell at people and flip at anything. If I'm in a good mood, I'll try to avoid arguing"

Question 2: Why are you going into the house?
"To make my family and friends proud and to help further my modelling career "

Question 3: Do you think you can win?
"Of course not, every winner in Big Brother is fun and entertaining to watch (apart from Helen Wood of course) I think I could reach the final, but you never know!"

Davina: Ladies and gentlemen, it's Jessica!

*Jessica climbs out of the car and screams as the crowd had a mixed reaction. She nervously stops to have her photo taken, and she goes up the stairs slowly. She enters the house and takes a deep breath*

Michelle: You okay love?

Jessica: I think I'll be fine, haha. It's just intense out there

Andrea: Alright love? I'm Andrea *they both hug*

Jessica: I'm Jessica, lovely to meet you all

*George and Will are by the dining table drinking champagne*

*Camera cuts back to Davina*

Davina: we're nearly halfway there! Here is housemate #6

Housemate #6

Name: Jeremiah Barakat
Age: 35
Location: Manchester
Job: Psychologist

Question 1: What will you be like in the house?
"When I'm in the Big Brother house, I'm going to try and make friends with everyone but at the same time, ensuring they don't use me or backstab me. When I'm angry, I can be scary"

Question 2: Why are you going into the house?
"Since it started, Big Brother has fascinated me so I decided to enter the house to have an experience I've never had before"

Question 3: Do you think you can win?
"I think I have a good chance of winning, I'm not loud or fame hungry. I'm just a normal person and people love to see that in the Big Brother house"

Davina: Ladies and gentlemen.. it's Jeremiah!

*Jeremiah gets out of the car to cheers, he waves at the audience and he stops to have his photo taken. He then enters the house to even louder cheers*

Jeremiah: Hello everybody!

Michelle: Hello! I'm Michelle, and you are?

Jeremiah: I'm Jeremiah, lovely to meet you Michelle

Will: Hey mate, I'm Will. How was the crowd?

Jeremiah: Rather scary but I didn't hear a single boo out there, so I'm happy

*camera cuts back to Davina*

Davina: We're halfway through our launch show! So far, we've met Michelle, Georrge, Andrea, Will, Jessica and Jeremiah. After the break, we will be throwing in another 4, and our housemates will discover Big Brothers first twist of the series. Don't go anywhere!

Davina: Hello and welcome back to the live launch of Big Brother: Winter Trip! So far we've met 6 housemates who seem to be settling in well, but not for long. As tonight, Big Brother will be dropping the first twist just minutes after the last housemate has entered. But let's crack on and meet housemate number 7...

Housemate #7

Name: Emma Walter
Age: 25
Location: Portsmouth
Job: Game Store Worker

Question 1: What will you be like in the house?
"Very bitchy and straight to the point. I don't take no for an answer and I'm afraid of nobody and nothing. I've had friends try to backstab and use me, and they're no longer my friends"

Question 2: Why are you going into the house?
"I just don't know, I applied because I was bored one day. I never expected to get in. But if you want to know the truth, I'm going in there for the money"

Question 3: Do you think you can win?
"Yes, I think I actually have an interesting personality instead of some fame hungry girl wanting to get a modelling career. I think this will be a piece of cake!"

Davina: Ladies and gentlemen, It's Emma!

*The crowd has a mixed reaction to Emma, as she jumps out of the car and starts waving. She walks slowly towards the stage where photographers take her photo, she then enters the house*

Emma: Oh my goodness, I'm finally here!

Jeremiah: Hello, I'm Jeremiah and you are?

Emma: I'm Emma, lovely to meet you

*camera cuts back to Davina*

Davina: I think there's room for another one.. here's housemate number 8

Housemate #8

Name: Stefan Landry
Age: 25
Location: Penzance (Born in Paris)
Job: Hotel Manager

Question 1: What will you be like in the house?
"I can be very persuasive and very convincing. If I tell someone to do something, they'll do it"

Question 2: Why are you going into the house?
"Because I want to make my family and friends back in France proud of me, they're behind me 100%! I'm also going in because I want to have an experience and I love the show"

Question 3: Do you think you can win?
"I'm not sure, mainly because I know I'll be up against other people who are going in the house to win"

Davina: Ladies and Gentlemen.. it's Stefan!

*Stefan gets out of the car and the crowd cheers loudly, he walks over to get his photo taken while Davina reads out facts about him. He then walks into the house*

Stefan: Hello everybody!

Jessica: Hey! I'm Jessica, and you are?

Stefan: I'm Stefan

Michelle: Nice to meet you Stefan, you've got an interesting accent, where are you from?

Stefan: I live in the UK, but I was born in Paris. So I'm French!

*camera cuts back to Davina*

Davina: We are close to finding out what Big Brothers first twist has in store for our new housemates, but we still have 4 more housemates to meet. So let's meet housemate number 9!

Housemate #9

Name: Ziri Ortiz
Age: 23
Location: Birmingham
Job: Model

Question 1: What will you be like in the house?
"I'm easily angered. If someone says something that I don't like, I'll explode. I don't take lies or bull**** from anyone else. I'm not going to be told what to do, so if somebody in the house tells me to do chores, I'll simply tell them to **** off"

Question 2: Why are you going into the house?
"I'm a massive fan of Big Brother and I want to make my family proud back in Birmingham, on top of that I also could do with the prize fund in my bank account If you know what I'm saying"

Question 3: Do you think you can win?
"I'm not sure, you'll either love me or hate me. I can be explosive, but I can be fun and entertaining to watch"

Davina: Ladies and Gentlemen, It's Ziri!

*Ziri climbs out of the car and the crowds have a mixed reaction, she struts over to the stage where photographers snap photos of her. She then walks into the house waving at the crowds*

Ziri: Oh my god! That was insane man

Stefan: Tell me about it, it was so scary! I'm Stefan and you are?

Ziri: I'm Ziri, lovely to meet you all

*Camera cuts back to Davina*

Davina: Aw, it seems like they're all getting on in there! But we're not finished yet, here's housemate number 10!

Housemate #10

Name: Juan De La Cruz
Age: 40
Location: London (Born in Seville, Spain)
Job: Footballer

Question 1: What will you be like in the house?
"I can be very fussy and picky so I may get nominated for that, I can also be a slob at the same time. I leave dishes and dirty clothes everywhere, I think I'll get pulled up on it though. But I'll stick up for myself and I won't take clean freaks.

Question 2: Why are you going into the house?
"I'm going into Big Brother just to help further my career in Football, I currently play for a local club in London and I hope that I'll get seen by major clubs and hopefully they'll sign me on"

Question 3: Do you think you can win?
"Absolutely, I think that I am somebody who is fun and caring and cool. So I will get on with the British public"

Davina: Ladies and gentlemen.. It's Juan!

*Juan jumps out of the car while the crowd boo's, he marches over to get his photo taken by the photographers. He then enters the house*

Juan: Haha, they are all jealous of me!

Stefan: Hello! I'm Stefan and you are?

Juan: I'm Juan

Will: How you doing mate? *they shake hands*

*Camera cuts back to Davina*

Davina: So far, we have met: Michelle, George, Andrea, Will, Jessica, Jeremiah, Emma, Stefan, Ziri and Juan. After the break, we will meet our final two and then Big Brother will be dropping his first twist on the housemates, don't go anywhere!

Davina: Welcome back to Big Brother: Winter Trip! We're close to revealing what Big Brother has in store for our new residents, but first we have two more housemates to meet. Here is number 11..

Housemate #11

Name: Jasmine Clarke
Age: 21
Location: Bristol
Job: Hairdresser

Question 1: What will you be like in the house?
"I'm not one of those girls who scream and shout when they don't get their own way, I'll just approach people with respect and not make myself look like a fool on national TV"

Question 2: Why are you going into the house?
"I'm going into the house because.. well I'm not sure. It would be nice to win the prize money and get the bit of fame that comes with it. But I'm not sure"

Question 3: Do you think you can win?
"Again, I'm not sure. I think I'm going to be up against other people so let's see"

Davina: Ladies and gentlemen it's Jasmine!

*Jasmine gets out of the car and poses, she then walks over to the photographers and poses again. The crowd has a mixed reaction and she then walks into the house*

Jasmine: Oh my god!

Jessica: Hey darling, I'm Jessica and you are?

Jasmine: I'm Jasmine

*camera cuts back to Davina*

Davina: Now, we only have one more housemate to meet tonight.. here he is! It's housemate number 12

Name: Daniel Parker
Age: 21
Location: London
Job: Footballer

Question 1: What will you be like in the house?
"I'm going into that house and I'm going to do whatever I want, nobody is going to tell me to clean or cook.

Question 2: Why are you going into the house?
"I'm going into the house because I want the time of my life, getting drunk every night and maybe finding a girlfriend in the process. Seems like my typical Friday night!"

Question 3: Do you think you can win?
"Of course! I'm going to keep an open mind about things, I think that the public will love me because I'll be entertaining to watch"

Davina: Ladies and gentlemen, it's your last housemate for this evening. It's Daniel!

*Daniel gets out of the car and the crowd is cheering, while a few boos can be heard in the distance. Daniel waves and stops to have his photo taken and then he enters the house*

Daniel: Hey all, that was something alright

Michelle: Hi! I'm Michelle and you are?

Daniel: I'm Daniel

Michelle: Lovely to meet you, we left you a bit of champagne. Are you the last one in?

Daniel: Yeah, I think so anyway

*Camera cuts back to Davina*


Davina: Well, now that gives us a full house! All 12 housemates have moved in and are settling in pretty quickly... but sneaky Big Brother is about to drop the first twist on them. It's now time to hand over to Big Brother..

*Camera cuts back to the living area where everybody is scattered out talking to each other*

Big Brother: This is Big Brother

Big Brother: Could one housemate come to the diary room

*Everybody goes silent and most people head for the diary room door*

Michelle: It might be where you get automatically nominated

Andrea: I'll take my chances, I'll go in!

Will: Sure Andrea?

Andrea: Yeah, I'll do it. I don't care if I'm automatically nominated, doesn't mean a thing

*the dairy room door opens and Andrea walks in and sits herself on the DR chair*

Big Brother: Hello Andrea, welcome to the Big Brother house..

Andrea: Thank you!

Big Brother: Andrea, as you was the first person to come to the diary room.. you have been given a massive decision to make

Andrea: oooo, lovely

Big Brother: In front of you, there are six cards. Each card has six different quotes from six different people.

Andrea: Okay, and?

Big Brother: Tomorrow, you must decide which one of these people will be entering the Big Brother house as a housemate

Andrea: Bloody hell, am I allowed to tell anyone?

Big Brother: You are allowed to discuss this with your fellow housemates Andrea, you may now leave the diary room

Andrea: Okay, thanks BB

*Camera cuts back to Davina*

Davina: So, to clarify. Andrea must choose another housemate to enter the house based off basic profiles, and tomorrow she must choose one person to enter.

Davina: But what she and the other housemates don't know is that some of those 'people' on the cards might be related to one of the housemates, in a good way or a bad way.

Davina: And that's not all, this chosen housemate will be the only one eligible to nominate next week..

Davina: So that's all for tonight..

Davina: Good Night!
