Using jade to prop up flagging ratings by getting her to riow with Shilpa has backfired bigtime.

They may have boosted ratings, but they're lost revenue from Jade's brand as a consequence.

Only morons will see Jade's interviw with davina as being credible now.

To justify something is to defend and explain yourself...

She did not shoot herself in the foot she was merely explain that as Jo was worried about what is being said, if anything has been interpreted to what in their eyes is wrong, they can then explain and defend themselves.
