I'm so furious and my night has been ruined tbh. I asked my two 'best friends' (I'm probably closer to these girls two than most other people) what they were doing tonight and they lied to my face and said 'nothing, we're just staying in.' so I just believed them and never really questioned what was happening. I've just been on my snapchat and checked stories and I saw them putting 'girls night in' and I thought it was rather sly that they hadn't told me because I always invite both of them but wasn't really bothered. The thing what's really upset me is that another friend of theirs who is fairly close to them but not that close to them as I am, has gone go this 'girls night' baring in mind they always tell me they feel closer to me. The thing is that they lied to my face and basically made me second best. They didn't tell me about this night in and I wouldn't have minded if they did. I'm usually forgiving but I'm so annoyed I'm not going to forgive them easily this time. Am I being OTT or should I be this annoyed?

Thing thing is 'girls only' means me as well. Well 99% of the time apart from tonight anyway. I'm just annoyed they went behind my back

I'm in a group chat with them they could've organised it with me too. The only reason I don't think it's last minute also is because I heard them mention at dinner time the film Wild Child and not so surprisingly that's the film on their snapchat.

I sound like I'm being petty but I just feel second best all the time.

Maybe, I think it's more to the fact they lied to my face and then went and put it on sc thinking I wouldn't mind. One of the girls is constantly going on about 'sky' mates and things like that just because once I had the nerve to not tell her the full details of an argument with a girl in my year which she WAS NOT involved in.

I don't even know why I'm friends with these two girls anymore. They ditch me all the time for some lads who aren't even good looking and actually have really weird personalities. They're just thirsty bitches and it's cringeworthy. I have other friends tbh who wouldn't ditch me over some lads or lie to my face

I think that's why I'm annoyed. Because it's not like I've done anything wrong and they've just not bothered inviting me and gone and done it behind my back? I just feel like they're trying to create drama partially

Perhaps they just look is if they are having fun, you aren't there joining in and it has annoyed you.
I wouldn't make a big deal out of it, you might feel better about it once you have slept on it.

...I'm not sure about 'sly' Daniel, only because they did put it on snapchat, which is somewhere, where you would see it so in a way, they were quite open about it..?..but just didn't really explain it to you properly, so I can see why it would upset you...plus if you've always been a part of the 'girl's night in', other times and always invited them..then, that would hurt...sadly, people don't always think..'how would I feel'..and I'm sure that hurt wasn't intended, so talk to them about it today...see what they say and explain how it made you feel, because quite often we can misunderstand stuff that really doesn't need to be misunderstood but that can cause bad feelings...

It's understandable why it upset you because noone likes to feel left out, but I'd wonder if there was any malice behind it. As has been said, they didn't try and hide their girly night in so there probably wasn't any malicious intent in leaving you out, just a lack of consideration perhaps? Just have a chat with them and let them know in a reasonable way without getting angry at them how it made you feel. I'm sure they'll understand. It's best to be honest and not bottle things up I think. And to be fair to them, even if you are included 99% of the time, sometimes girls just want girl company, which isn't anything personal against you.

They didn't say they were having a girls night in at all they made out they were just staying at their own home with their family. So they have lied.

I'm just sick of feeling like second best to them and being left out while they go off on their own. One of the girls is really wedged up the other girls arse for twenty four hours of the day
