The Londoner reveals her fears...
Jade has admitted that she's far more scared of being evicted tonight than she ever was in her previous Big Brother incarnation.


A week of tension and allegations comes to a head in just a few hours and Jade is fearing possible rejection - and a backlash.

"I'm nervous about being booted out," she told Big Brother in the Diary Room. "It was different four years ago because I had nothing to lose. Now I'm a known person and there are people that like me. I've got a fan base and I'm scared of being rejected."

What worries the Bermondsey girl most is being perceived as a racist, an issue on which she tried to set the record straight.

"I said something regarding Shilpa's surname that I think may have caused offence to people outside," she said. "It wasn't meant in a racist way at all and it worries me that people may think of me as a racial person that makes racial comments. I never would, I've not been brought up like that."

Jade says the Bollywood star is on her side, but she's not sure if everyone will be.

She continued: "Shilpa says she knows I'm not racist, but the press have a lot of power and if they want to print I'm racial.. that could influence a lot of people and I could be evicted for the wrong reasons."

"Fair enough if people vote me out because they don't like me, but if it's because they think I'm a racist b**** I'll be worried about walking out - because that's not me."

Iam scared for her aswell. I really belive that She didnt mean it in a raceist way. She just wasnt thinking and it just slipped out iam sure. We are all guilty of saying things in the heat of the moment and of saying things we didnt mean.

I think people could deal with one moment of madness but it's been the constant bitching and nastiness that's really started the backlash against Jade and her cronies though.Fair enough people can lose their cool and say a few rash things but it's been going on over a week now with the three girls with Jade the most vocal.

Possible she forgot about the cameras? A few housemates have already said they seem to forget that the cameras are there.

You maybe right, but Jade has done this before. Having said that thats how she made her fortune. I think up until BB had a little word in her ear she believed that she would win!

It was the one time , in exception of the other two HM's , although Jade made nasty comments about Shilpa, the only thing she referred to which could be considered in terms of race was the "poppadom" incident

To be honest I really do genuinely believe that Jade hasn't been racist. And to be called a racist if you are genuinely not racist must be horrible.

Her intentions weren't racist but she did include racist overtones.

Anyway, racist or not racist, the way she acted towards shilpa was revolting enough.
