Default I don't "get" 4th Impact at all!

Each week i find little to like or enjoy about their performance - yet i browse social media and find some kind of fervent worship towards them.

What am i missing?

They're the best X Factor group since Little Mix tbh.

No I agree. They're not "bad" by any means and they're extremely likeable and endearing, but I do find their singing to be overstated with most of their performances.

That said, I did like their performance last night (their best lives performance yet imo) and I thought they were very good at Judges Houses (when they did a slower song and didn't have a dance routine).

They are different and do great performances, to me X Factor isn't all about being the best singer it's about the star quality and entertainment and 4th Impact are stars and bring the entertainment to the show. This is why Fleur East was the best last year. I believe we could have a decent winner this year, which we have not had since Little Mix (imo)

Their audition was one of the best ever but I do agree the singing is starting to sound a little screechy as we hear more of them. They're the most polished act the XF has probably ever had at this stage .

Firstly they are outstanding singers with huge vocal range and don't need to resort to OVER singing any song. Selina's absolutely out of this world huge vocal moments are enough to show that girl has some lungs. Secondly they practise practise practise and work very very hard to get things just right. Thirdly to have four sisters that talented is rare, sometimes one would be what you would call a lead singer and the others background just like Westlife, Boyzone etc. Fourthly they know EXACTLY what kind of artists they want to be. Fifthly they are humble and extremely likeable

These are the reasons I really like them and hope they do very well. When I think of Selina singing with that power and commitment last night after she fainting earler and CHERYL miming last season well I have to give them credit. I have judged several vocal competitions down through the years and I can hear a 'bum' note nearly before its even sung. Those girls are absolutely on point. I think many people don't like the 'cutesy' fact which is fair enough but nobody can dispute their talent surely

I don't think there that good or any different to say little Mix. I did think last night was their best performance to date and all credit to them for still doing it live after the fainting thing. But there not different. Reggie and Bollie are different 4th impact are not.

I also don't understand the "humble" thing - keep seeing it in relation to 4th Impact - but don't get the relevance or validity of it .

One of the reasons I don't like Lauren is that she is cocky and made some really nasty little comments at the 6 chair challenge like when she was backstage waiting and one of the girls went on she muttered right she doesn't cope well under pressure which was a kind of dig that she didn't have to worry about that particular contestant. I can still feel an air of cockiness about her. 4th Impact don't have that. They really want to do their best, are thrilled when they get good comments but don't 'expect' anything

But couldn't that mean they are simply more professional and better drilled than Lauren?
