So basically I'm filming a 30 second narrative for college,

My idea is a stalker but a grandma stalking her grandson, some of you may know about this. So on the 31st October I went to the woods off of the mental institutions/hospital and filmed. I used 2 students from my class, and it went ok. The weather was decent but there was something missing in the filming. The stalker had to get onto the victim and try and attack with a knife.

It didn't look to good once reviewing the footage which is understandable as it must have been difficult, considering neither of them are an actor/actress. It overall didn't look very compelling or aggressive, just didn't feel right.

So after my teacher reviewed the footage she told to re film some scenes, she helped me do it. She wanted the stalker to actually be played by an elderly woman, so she went and got a member of staff to be in it.

A few days later (today) we re filmed in the studio with a green screen, instead of going back to the forest. It went superb.

The teacher we used is an ex actress so it was very good. We only filmed a close up of her stabing the knife.

Out of no where she started to really get into and she said: "You ****ing bastard, you deserved everything you ****ing got."

She said she will show the narrative to her students, to warn them of the consequences of not doing their work

I literally bursted out laughing when she surprisingly added her own dialogue to it, but it really worked, made it a lot darker. I took a couple of shots of her doing it.

Great of her as a teacher to do this for me, considering it's not an easy role playing some psychotic grandma and killing someone with a knife. I don't know many that would be willing to do this

Overall it looked great, just need to re film some more.
