These are my thoughts on the first few days, I'd love to know what everyone thinks about the HM's.

First of all I love the eye and the cloud background to it, it's really simple but fun, and the opening titles are great. Also the house looks amazing (and the diary room is one of my favourites ) And I love the silver doors!

Launch night thoughts:

Deana seems nice. Quite an understated VT. She seems normal but likeable. I didn't really understand why she got booed, but then again, she's a confident asian woman so I shouldn't have been too surprised lol! Loved her reaction to the twist and her "I'll get the boring ones out" line - good girl

Arron. Needs a haircut. I want to hate him because on appearence, he looks like a bit of a knobhead, and someone who loves himself, but actually he seems alright and quite down to earth.

Caroline seems mad as box of frogs I think I'm going to love her. Although I don't like that she said she might not get involved in the tasks. You're on Big Brother love.

Shievonne "I haven't drank water in about 6 years" lmao Omg I love her spirit, probably my favourite so far.

Conor, I'm not sure what to think. Really arrogant on his VT, made me think he's a complete twat, but I can't tell if he was doing it tongue in cheek or not. I don't know what to make of him but on first impressions. I think he could be really entertaining, not sure about likeable though.

Lauren seems like an odd combination of Grace BB7 and Shell BB5. I like her though. Like Deana, quite an understated entrance. (I also thought she looks a bit like Melinda Messenger.)

Luke A, hmm, I can't really see that there's anything interesting about him tbh, apart from his 'story'. Seems nice enough, but I was left feeling a bit 'meh'. I know he ends up winning so maybe he comes out of his shell later and I'll change my opinion on him. I'm not sure.

Adam is another one similar to Luke for me, I get that his past is meant to make him seem interesting but I didn't see anything in him tbh.

Sara reminded me a bit of Jen BB9. I like her I think, she's got a spark, I think she could be interesting. (Although her outfit looks like christmas wrapping paper.)

Scott - I know him lol! Well not really, but I met him a while ago on a night out in Manchester and he was really nice. Although when he said in his VT "I like to hang around with chavs on a night out because they're always a bit naughty"...

Ashleigh, I think she's going to really annoy me tbh. I don't like her at all but it's always hard to tell on first impressions. She looks so much like Nicola Roberts tho!

Luke S, I like him. He's a bit cocky but they all are on their VT's. He seems pretty normal and down to earth, and he seems like he might be a laugh.

Lydia, another model! She wants to step out of Andy Scott Hew's shadow hahahaha. That shouldn't be too hard. "Maybe I'm more logical than the logic". Idiot. I like her though I think she could be interesting. (Also, when she stepped out the eye she looked like a cross between Nelly Furtado and Kemal. Striking!) I also got Becki BB5 teas for some reason.

Benedict, another mancunian, good good. I remember reading about him, the teacher who got sacked for doing porn lol! I think he could be a great character. I'm not sure if I like him but he seems like a strong personality and has a good presense.

Chris "chipmonk on heat" hahaha. He talks a good talk but I get the impression he might just fade into the background. I might be wrong. He seems likeable but nothing particularly interesting about him.

Victoria, Lea teas. "I'll flirt with women/men/rabbits/cows...". She's trying too hard in her VT. I think I'm going to really like her though. I get the impression that maybe she thought she had to go overboard in her VT to get noticed (because of her age) but she seems lovely talking to Brian. And she looks incredible for 41! One of my favourites I think.

Overall a really great set of HM's. Varied bunch and some interesting personalities.

Loved the face to face noms. Conor took it really well but Victoria and Lydia, if looks could kill. And Deana's "evil eyes" comment bhahahahaha!!! Brilliant. I don't really want any of those 3 to go though.

And Brian Dowling... I have really mixed feelings atm. I love Brian so much, he's one of my favourite ever HM's and I love his personality when he's being natural, and I really wanted to like him presenting, but my gosh, I cringed so hard at him during that. I don't think he's a bad presenter, I remember watching him on SMTV Live and really liking him, but it's clear that this isn't the right role for him. It's actually really sad, watching it knowing how he ends up getting screwed. I think if he had been given bots instead of the main role then he would have done much better and might still be on TV nowadays

Also, The random draw for who will be the first HM gave me BB7 'get a ball out' teas (and Brian Belo was in the audience )

Days 1 and 2:

Lydia's brilliant, she can't stop herself from saying what she's thinking, I like that in a housemate. And her "I've actually got a famous fiance and I haven't told any of you" She got messy on day 2 so I love her. I actually think her breakdown is because she's realised that she isn't going to be able to control how the game goes, maybe she went in with unrealistic expectations. I like her but she needs a reality check, and to get over herself a bit. Oh and her convo with Shievonne where she broke down was hilarious, "I didn't bring any pictures of him *sob* because I didn't want people to see his face" LMFAO, it's Andy Scott Lee ffs, literally NOONE would care

Don't like Ashleigh one bit. She needs to leave NOW! "Reem, no way, sha'up". I don't know if it was first night nerves but honestly, one of the most irritating HM's I've ever seen. And WHY IS SHE ASKING IF THEY PISS ON PEOPLES FACES OHMYGOD SHUTUP!!

I can't get a handle on Adam, he needs to drop his guard. Also, why the **** does he have a sock tattoed on his leg. A sock! But I loved his reaction to Luke's 'coming out'. He was the only one who asked loads of questions about it. Everyone else just kind of did what I think people in that situation think they should do, which is not react. But I think people like Luke would rather be asked questions and talk openly about it to get everything out in the open, and then they can relax, and not be worried about what people are thinking. So I like Adam for reacting the way he did.

I'm glad Luke A's telling people about him being trans early on, just so (hopefully) the focus of the show moves away from his story.

I really like Arron. And Sara's coming across really well. I'm liking Caroline too but someone needs to get ha a hairbrush! Lauren seems constantly stoned. And Shievonne, her impressions Omg she's brilliant. Benedict is annoying me, the way he speaks is so patronising. And I'd like to see more of Victoria. She had a great line though - "You have to respect what other people think and feel... unless it's axe-murdering or something like that"

I found the most interesting thing about the first couple of days, the conversation between Luke A, Scott and Chris. On the first night they immediately start discussing the 'alpha male' politics of the house which I found really interesting because out of all the men in the house, those 3 have the most reason to feel insecure about their masculinity. I think what they were doing, by having that conversation, was forming a pact early on as they each have reason to feel that they might be targeted by the other men. Also, Chris naming his 3 favourite men as Benedict/Adam/Conor (when he doesn't really know anyone) - and they also happen to be the 3 physically biggest men in the house. It was interesting. I get the feeling that Chris is being quite sly and manipulative, and maybe he has issues with the whole alpha male scenario. Also, he singled out Luke S as someone to be wary of because he was standing over people intimidatingly when talking to them, when Adam (who Chris had just listed as one of his faves) was stood next to Luke S doing exactly the same thing as him

Anyway, really enjoyed the launch and the first couple of days. So far I'm liking most of the HM's but my favourites are Shievonne/Deana/Arron/Sara/Connor/Caroline/Lydia. I've heard a lot of bad things about Connor though so I'm not sure how this will change. The only ones I don't like at the moment are Chris and Ashleigh (I'm finding them both very annoying).
