Default Englands cricket performance ..

What in gods name has happened to Englands cricket team??

we've just been humbled by a 2nd rate New Zealand team!

This is the worst ever side i've ever seen.

We have been bad at one day cricket for ages. I was surprised when we beat them the first time. The New Zealand team might be second rate but the problem is we are third rate.

We have tried far too many players in the ODI and people are underperfoming big time.

Only having 3 batsman get into double figures is disgrace and at this rate we will be out of the world cup after the group stage.

Something is going on, I wonder if the Aussies are just trying to get our hopes up before they demolish us in the next two matches.

I went to bed when Australia were about 150 for 1,and thought oh hear we go again ,there will be no get out of jail this time!! Then I woke up when Enland had about 50 runs to get from 40 balls. I couldn`t believe it.
If Australia were just teasing us, I would say it was still a bit risky being one day games,or are they just that good lol !!

If only it had been just a one day game as the final instead of three lol.

The highlights are up on the BBC site for anyone interested.

someone was saying on talksport this morning that a guy in london put Ł20,000 on Australia to win when England were 17 - 3 and looking down the barrell of another heavy defeat. Had they won, he would have won an extra Ł3,500. In the end, England turned them over, and this guy lost Ł20,000!!!!

Some great cricket this morning, some of the bowling and catching was top notch.

They need to be more consistant, the Ashes was a mockery of the standard we should be at.
