Welcome to the game:
AProducersWetDream, Adam, Ammi, Amy Jade, Daniel-X, Kirk, Lostie, Mokka, Niamh, ProfessorSmooth, Rubymoo and Will.

You are now characters in a story that will see you face numerous challenges over the next 2 weeks. You will need to complete these challenges in order to progress and ultimately win.

Each round you will be given clues via this game thread.

Episode 1: A Necessary Deception - Part 1

12 strangers wake up in a decrepit room, dazed and confused, with no memory of how they got there, or who they are.



You're on board a ship but that's about all you can gather. You contemplate your surroundings and each other, and notice that everyone has a backpack. You check your own and stare at the contents for minutes, wondering why you have it with you, trying to spark a memory, but nothing. You decide to keep it close by anyway, just in case.

[You will receive a PM with the contents of your backpack after the first elimination.]

You look around, wondering who these people are. Wondering who you are. Before spotting a crate in the corner of the room. You open it and inside, amongst other things, is a letter.

It reads:

The name 'Eloine' sends shivers down your spine. You don't know why. You look in the crate again and see the following items:

- A bracelet engraved "To my darling Josephine"
- A bloodied rag
- A copy of George Orwell's '1984'
- A pregnancy test

You're confused and afraid but before you can absorb any of this, the room becomes engulfed in flames.

You break out of the cabin and make your way to a lifeboat. Once there, you know that the only way to ensure your own freedom is to find the destination that the letter referred to.

Over the next 24 hours I will be posting clues as to where your destination is and you can PM the destination to me at any point from now until Wednesday 6pm. Do not post it on the game thread. If you change your mind at any point based on further clues you can PM me a different destination and I will take your final choice. If you chose to help anyone else during any of the challenges that is up to you, but right now you are playing as individuals, so helping someone else will only damage your own chances. Team work will come into play later on.

I also encourage you to PM me any other suspicions or theories you currently have relating to the story and the game.

Some of the clues and hints aren't directly related to your current task, but will become more useful later in the game. Therefore you won't be penalized for incorrect guesses/assumptions. You will however be rewarded should you guess anything correctly (for example in the event of a tie).


Lastly, you must PM me the name of one of your fellow competitors who you would like to give a special reward to that will help them in future rounds of the game.

Thank you for the comments everyone I'm just going to clarify, there are 2 separate tasks currently ongoing.

Task 1: Figure out your destination. This is what the clues are referring to (Clue #1, Clue #2, etc).

Task 2: Complete the first line of the below: (This has nothing to do with your destination.)

This particular task will be running throughout the whole game and right now you have only been given enough clues to guess the first line. It is 3 words (3 letter word / 2 letter word / 3 letter word) and the clues needed to solve it are given throughout the story.

You have until 6pm tomorrow to PM me with as much as you can figure out (and remember that you'll also need to choose a fellow competitor to give a special reward to).
